Unfortunately, this is the real life....I think Protestants back away and use the excuse they cannot participate in these discussions because they really don't have any answers to back them up. They have no history going back to Christ himself....pity.

First, let's start using the term "anti-Catholics" instead of Protestants. I'm learning to "not" paint them all with such title.

Now, as to the Anti-Catholics R1, they never had the answers.

All they had were the Moderators and Site Administrators to back them up and to alter and edit discussions between Cats & Anti-Cats.

They won't come here because of the open enviorment.

They will only dwell among the anti-Cat forums.

They certainly aren't safe here...this is the dwelling place of truth.

That's not why, it's because many times Catholics lie about Protestantism. A good example would be when Catholics claim there are over 30,000 protestant denominations. It gets frustrating to repeat over and over that it isn't true.

Funny...but it's Protestant sites that put forth those numbers bragging about the "diversity" of Protestantism.

Now, it's wrong?

The fact is, whether it's 33,000 or just 1 outside of The Church, the numbers don't matter. What matters is that they reject The Church.

The thing is, if there's enough division to create a seperate denomination, where is the unity?

This completely contradicts Paul's teachings of us being of the same mindset and word and deed.

And...Jesus' wish, that we may all be "one".

That's "one". Not 33,000 and 1.

Cepha, that is only a handful out of 30,000 of them. They are shoot-offs from other shoot-offs from Protestanism. I can't imagine having a worship in an auditorium vs. a holy Catholic church.

To each his/her own. I leave that up to God.

How/where/with whom a person chooses to worship is between them and God.

As for me?

I had to become a Catholic once I reverted to my Christian faith.
I had no choice...I knew the truth.

I can always show you a list of all of the various Catholic segments in your Church and yet you claim all this phony unity stuff.

You're referring to "rites" of The Catholic Church.

So, list them...I guarantee you that all of them recognize the authority of The Pope over them placing them in full communion with The Church (and not "outside" of The Church).

Please...list them.

And I'll show you where they are united to The Church.

In fact, the mainline Protestant churches recognize The Church's history.

It's only the sects and cults of Protestantism that don't believe.

The older a Protestant church is, the more Catholic it becomes. Why? Because their ecclisiastical knowledge grows with the years and their church theologians add unto what their previous elders have established.
