You do know that the only reason that this debate has legs is because there are no anti-Catholics for us to dogpile on, right?  Gosh I wish those ChurchUSA'ers were here! I miss pawing them around. Cowards. They can't compete on an uncensored board. They've all quit. I guess, their faith in their religion wasn't strong enough to compete against common sense. Sigh. |

My respect for you just dropped a little bit. 2001 was the first year in the new millenium as there was no year 0. So my comment was factually correct. If they put in as much time into learning about Christ as they do in trying to dissprove Mary's state of sexual activity post Christ or in trying to discredit Peter or in trying to deny The True Presence of Christ in The Eucharist, they'd actually blow most Catholics away theologically. On the street, we call this "Hustling Backwards" in that they aggressively struggle to move forward, but keep backsliding into darkness.
