In watching the beautiful processions of The Mass, in watching the various nations represented in The Mass, in watching The Pope talk, I feel shamed.
I'm "not" being a good Catholic.
In fact, most times, I'm not being "Catholic" at all.
I have to change.
I have to live my faith more and not myself.
God help me.
Pray for me.
As I will pray for you all.

I In fact, most times, I'm not being "Catholic" at all. Good! ;D Lol, but really, I often times feel like I am not doing enough for Christ or living for Christ period. It's an awful feeling.

That's one thing I love about non-Catholic Christians...they always say "for Jesus".
We say "Catholic", so by that, we instantly mean "for Jesus".
But "for Jesus" being said always sounds nicer.

I too feel that way. I cried seeing the pope all week in everything he did. Just a blink of an eye and there were more people that he has gathered. Like a flock of sheep, gathering together. His visit at times was very emotional to me. This Apostle of peace, Vicar of Christ, The Holy See. My beloved pope.

Me too. Did u c the yankee stadium mass? Did u c all the different religions that performed at the opening? Jesus was smiling when He saw His brothers united in worship to Him. Not fighting. Just praising Jesus.

And I bet you that Satan and those he has in his grasp were fuming. He's probably here because the Vatican is broke and he needs some American dough.

Jesus taught me to do that...
Luke 6 26 Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.
27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,
28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
...If I didn't mean my words, I wouldn't have posted them...in Jesus' name.
Amen.

You know I actually put a Yankees jersey into Fenway Park? Yep it's true! Amazing no one has removed it, or likely ever will. That's because it's at the bottom of the septic tank!!! Toodles~RSF77

Steven,
I feel your pain. I watched the Holy Father on the telle, and felt ashamed of myself, as well.

I'm not ashamed really, is that bad? I don't think the pope wants us to be ashamed of ourselves. Christ in us is the hope of glory, and we are ashamed? No way! Humble maybe, penitent, meek, merciful, but not ashamed. Why call something or someone (ourselves) unclean when God has called us clean?

I am tired of ignorance from you know who here saying the pope came for money...the pope is the Vicar of Christ. You sound pretty jealous of him, that you don't have ANY authority WHATSOEVER in your FALSE church with your FALSE doctrine. Your Protestant pastors and so called ministers are the ones taking money from the poor. They lie and deceive many. My pope is rich in history. The Vatican has many art and sculptures dating back from the 1st century. That's what makes it rich.
