OMG! You people don't know what you are saying! Catholics are NOT voting for Obama, haven't you heard??? You've got your information all wrong! Obama wants partial abortion as well as full abortions at any stage of the pregnancy! That means when the baby comes out half way they stick the scissors in it and kill it! Is this the way Cepha you are voting? Obama has a giant lawsuit against him for not being able to produce a birth certificate! Just check out youtube and type in the attorney who's is taking the whole DNC to court. Type in Phillip Berg who was a life long Democrat until now! I am surprised at you people for voting for Obama, when Sarah Palin has more experience than Obama! Not to mention his own VP candidate Biden told Fox news that Obama will be tested the first six months in office by terrorists! Hamas has given so much to Obama! REVELATION STATES THAT A WOLF IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING WHO WEARS A TURBAN WILL LEAD OTHERS ASTRAY! Wake up people I am ashamed of all you Catholics here!

OMG! You people don't know what you are saying! Catholics are NOT voting for Obama, haven't you heard??? You've got your information all wrong! Supposedly, the split now is 50/50. But I'd never vote for a person who "pals" around with anti-Catholics like McCain who actively sought the support and endorsement of a preacher who called The Catholic Church The Whore of Babylon and didn't say anything about it until he got caught. Absolutely not. Perhaps you should read what The Catholic Church teaches regarding voting for a candidate who is Pro-Choice while disagreeing with him on that issue. The Church actually encourages us to choose a candidate by his overall status, not just on one issue while ignoring the rest of his stances. That's another reason why I love The Catholic Church! ;D And...McCain also believes in abortion in the case of the mother's convenience, incest and rape. YouTube? Check out this "nuetral" unbiased source (sarcastically typed): Saturday, October 25, 2008 Lawsuit Against Obama Dismissed from Philadelphia Federal CourtThe order came down at approximately 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Philip Berg’s lawsuit challenging Illinois Sen. Barack Obama’s constitutional eligibility to serve as president of the United States had been dismissed by the Hon. R. Barclay Surrick on grounds that the Philadelphia attorney and former Deputy Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania lacked standing.gretawire.foxnews.com/2008/10/24/ok-the-internet-rumors-about-the-birth-certificate-lets-end-the-rumors-and-the-viral-nature-of-them/ I am surprised at you people for voting for Obama, when Sarah Palin has more experience than Obama! No she doesn't. And besides, there are more people in Obama's District in Illinois than there are in the entire State of Alaska. Sorry to spring this on you, but Biden was telling the truth. This is common. Bush's father had to deal with it, so did Clinton, so did our current President (remember 9/11?). So this isn't anything new...in fact, that sort of integrity should be commendable by you. ;D Like what? Don't be ashamed of me. I am literally following Church teachings when it comes to voting. You are literally murdering in Jesus' words because you are literally lieing about Senator Obama with your slandersous and false postings. Sorry, but this is true. You should repent for lieing about him. I'm sure The Pope would dissapprove of slander R1. Besides...I think that this has already happened...remember when Bush lied to us about The War and weapons of mass destruction? Would you say that The American Public was "led astray"? And just look at who he "pals" around with...

P.S. Philip J. Berg is a bitter angry man with an ax to grind because he is a Hillary supporter. I believe he's a card carrying member of the ACLU. So who is Philip J. Berg? In 2005 he was fined and sanctioned $10,000 for having committed a "laundry list of unethical actions."""Other attorneys should look to Mr. Berg's actions as a blueprint for what not to do when attempting to effectively and honorably perform the duties of the legal profession," Joyner wrote.
"This court has grown weary of Mr. Berg's continuous and brazen disrespect toward this court and his own clients. Mr. Berg's actions ... are an enormous waste of judicial time and resources that this court cannot, in good conscience, allow to go unpunished," Joyner wrote."www.yestodemocracy.com/yes_to_democracy_no_to_pu/2008/08/wingnuts-away-.html

Cepha, you are so blind it isn't funny. My own priest told me as well as the Catholic League NOT TO VOTE FOR OBAMA. You have a lot of nerve telling me and insulting me to think I would ever go against Christ. Your information is wrong because YOU are brainwashed with this Muslim as well. THE ARABS WILL BE DANCING IN THE STREETS WHEN OBAMA IS ELECTED! Furthermore, Obama's attorneys NEVER SHOWED UP FOR COURT THE OTHER DAY. They are brushing it off. You are not very well informed on what this man has done HE SWORE ON THE KORAN AS HE WAS BEING SWORN INTO OFFICE AS SENATOR! HE NEVER PUT HIS HAND ON HIS CHEST TO SALUTE THE AMERICAN FLAG! At one time Cepha, I use to think you were smart but I now retract that thought. CATHOLICS ARE NOT VOTING FOR OBAMA!! WAKE UP!!

Cepha, you are so blind it isn't funny. My own priest told me as well as the Catholic League NOT TO VOTE FOR OBAMA. That is not a theological teaching...that is your priest's personal opinion. The Church has no official position on who to vote for. Didn't you know that? Ask your priest and see what he tells you. (if you dare! LOL!) Using your standards of judgement and applying them right back at you, you are. You are voting for a war monger (against Christ) that is known for using racial slurs (against Christ) that is Pro-Abortion in certain cases (against Christ) and that is divorced (against Christ) and that was caught up in corruption (against Christ) and that was involved in immoral behavior against his 2nd wife (against Christ). If you infer that by my choosing to vote for Obama, I am supporting his abortion stance, then you are guilty of supporting all those "against Christ" things that I listed that McCain is guilty of. I am applying the same exact judgement you are and that is what Jesus said you would be judged by...Remember? "Judge not for the measure by which you judge, so shall ye be judged." Not my words or teachings...but Jesus. So don't get upset with me. Get upset with Him if you still feel the same. Again, you are slandering him. I am still waiting for your proof that he is a Muslim. Without proof, it is slander (which is by the way..."against Christ"). So will all of the Christians that are voting for him and the atheists and the Buddhists and the agnostics and the... You continue to lie and slander...this is so sad... Matthew 12:36 "But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment." Amen Jesus. blog.washingtonpost.com/fact-checker/2007/11/obama_nabbed_by_the_patriotic.htmlPlease stop lieing. It's not "Christian" of you. Neither is insulting my intellect very Christian of you. But I return your insult with a blessing. God bless you Righteous1. I look forward to all of the proofs of your allegations that you have submitted. Without any proofs, they are just slandering lies. And you will have to answer to God for slandering Senator Barack Hussein Obama. That's your opinion... www.romancatholicsforobama.com/www.newsweek.com/id/165045?from=rsswww.chicagotribune.com/news/chi-catholics-obama-abortion,0,1636403.story www.catholicsforobama.blogspot.com/10000.catholics4obama.com/ncrcafe.org/node/1585

Now, let's look at what the "official" Church teaching is on voting for a candidate, shall we? ______________________________________________________________ U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops' Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship -- which explains why "[t]here may be times when a Catholic who rejects a candidate's unacceptable position may decide to vote for that candidate for other grave reasons" -- and Barack Obama's Blueprint for Change, which outlines all of Senator Obama's positions and is, we think, reflective of why he is the candidate whose views are most compatible with the Catholic outlook. The Bishops are obviously encouraging every faithful voting Catholic to read the full statement, and we hope you'll do that as well. We call attention to statements 34 through 37 (emphasis ours): 34. Catholics often face difficult choices about how to vote. This is why it is so important to vote according to a well-formed conscience that perceives the proper relationship among moral goods. A Catholic cannot vote for a candidate who takes a position in favor of an intrinsic evil, such as abortion or racism, if the voter's intent is to support that position. In such cases a Catholic would be guilty of formal cooperation in grave evil. At the same time, a voter should not use a candidate's opposition to an intrinsic evil to justify indifference or inattentiveness to other important moral issues involving human life and dignity. 35. There may be times when a Catholic who rejects a candidate's unacceptable position may decide to vote for that candidate for other morally grave reasons. Voting in this way would be permissible only for truly grave moral reasons, not to advance narrow interests or partisan preferences or to ignore a fundamental moral evil. 36. When all candidates hold a position in favor of an intrinsic evil, the conscientious voter faces a dilemma. The voter may decide to take the extraordinary step of not voting for any candidate or, after careful deliberation, may decide to vote for the candidate deemed less likely to advance such a morally flawed position and more likely to pursue other authentic human goods. 37. In making these decisions, it is essential for Catholics to be guided by a well-formed conscience that recognizes that all issues do not carry the same moral weight and that the moral obligation to oppose intrinsically evil acts has a special claim on our consciences and our actions. These decisions should take into account a candidate's commitments, character, integrity, and ability to influence a given issue. In the end, this is a decision to be made by each Catholic guided by a conscience formed by Catholic moral teaching." www.usccb.org/faithfulcitizenship/FCStatement.pdfAnd THAT'S why I love The Catholic Church!

A politician swearing on the bible doesn't exactly infuse me with faith in thier oaths cepha. That wasn't the point. The point is that R1 lied about Obama saying that he was sworn in on The Koran (among other things). I proved that she lied about him and slandered him (something Jesus wouldn't approve of).

Cepha, You reiterate this point so many times, that I feel it neccessary to have to reiterate myself as well. McCain does not support abortions for convenience, he is simply not choosing to aggressively remove the abortion laws already in place. If you have followed his comments in their entirety on this issue, you would realize that this is a man who is opposed to abortion, but hesitant about forcefully imposing an anti-choice agenda on everyone. He believes that any judges, who actually follow the constitution, would and should overturn Roe vs. Wade, but he does not want to push for them to see the case again any time soon, because he doesn't want to be responsible for back alley abortions and the pro-choice backlash. In little ways, he tries to help the pro-life movement, by standing up against measures that would worsen the situation (such as legalized partial birth abortions), while also promoting parental notification laws in individual states. Obama sees such parental notification laws as obstacles that hinder women from exercising their vitally important "right" to choose. Obama was a vocal proponent of live birth abortions, and now of the most comprehensive Abortion measure to ever be prposed... FOCA. You're facts sadly misrepresent the truth, by making it seem that a pro-abortion, pro-live birth abortion, pro-Foca Democrat (with %100 NARAL rating) is the same thing as a pro-life, anti-partial birth abortion, pro-parental rights "soft" Conservative (with a %0 NARAL rating). There is a major difference here, and if you can't see it, then I am at a loss as to why.... :/

Cepha, You reiterate this point so many times, that I feel it neccessary to have to reiterate myself as well. McCain does not support abortions for convenience, he is simply not choosing to aggressively remove the abortion laws already in place. Wait a minute, you don't think that a woman has a "choice" when she is having an abortion because she was raped? Or for her health? Or because of incest? It don't get no clearer than he supports abortion and promised that he would NOT repeal Roe V Wade! You have to be kidding me. I can understand you're trying to minimize this racist, wife abadoning, elitist who believes in unjust wars, but dang...you're just doing your best to justify his stances! See that? Cafetiriaism at it's worse! At least we know where we stand with Obama! He's Pro-Choice and he says it. McCain "says" he's Pro-Life, but that he believes in abortion! You call that "straight talk"? And...we know where I stand! I am against "Allllllllllll" abortion! And against Obama's stance on abortion! You? You try to explain away McCain's Pro-Choice stances (which by the way are 3 out of 4 on the major deciding factors on why women have abortions making him 75% Pro-Choice). Illll! I need a bath just for writing that! How? By promising that he won't repeal Roe V Wade? Yeah...right. Facts misrepresent the truth? You know something, you win. I have no response for that. Maybe, the facts have a way of "getting" in the way of an inconvenient truth for "you". But I take it as it's said...you can't judge a politician by what they say, but by what they do. And I challenge anyone here to show me where John McCain in his 30 years in office has sponsored one bill to eliminate abortion! [theme of Jeapordy plays in background]

Why is it that people think the POTUS can repeal any law? Regulations made by former POTUS with out congressional input is the only thing that can be changed so easily. BHO with a stroke of a pen has done what he could do for the abortion industry. Now the only way FOCA or other Federal Laws can be made is with the co=operation of congress & BHO.
McCain has supported STATES rights. This is where abortion questions should be placed.

What about a Republican controlled President, Senate and Congress with most of the Justices on the Supreme Court appointed by Republicans for 6 years straight...could they have repealed Roe V Wade? Would you say that this was a perfect time to eliminate abortion?
