"NewsBusters" is certainly not a reliable source.

Why do they have to be scandals after Obama became president?
It took forever for Obama to get any people for his cabinet. Most of the people he wanted for his cabinet were disqualified because they were crooks. I can't think of any other president who took so long to get his cabinet in place.
The other day the press pointed out that Obama has traveled outside of the U.S. more times in his first five months of presidency than any other president did in four years of office.

Why do they have to be scandals after Obama became president? Because he is the current President. Now, if you'd like to talk about the previous Presidents! By all means! I'd lovvvvve to! I have a list of the most corrupt Presidential Cabinet in the history of the United States I'd like to post! (But, it might make Marcie mad! LOL!) ;D Wow...you are so far detached from "reality" it's scary Alfie. He actually put together his cabinet in record time. Barack Obama picks cabinet in record timeBy Alex Spillius in Washington Published: 3:56PM GMT 19 Dec 2008 "This was one of the more well-organised and well-prepared transitions that we have seen," said Julian Zelizer, a historian at Princeton University. www.upi.com/turl-828ab0/(see, that's the "derangement" part of ODS) Isn't it great to finally have a President that actually works instead of taking record breaking vacations like Bush did! The Vacation PresidentSpecial to washingtonpost.com Tuesday, March 4, 2008; 1:02 PM According to the meticulous records kept by CBS Radio White House correspondent Mark Knoller, Bush on Monday lodged his 879th day spent in whole or in part at Camp David or his sprawling estate in Crawford, Tex.
By comparison, the 40th president only -- only! -- spent all or part of 866 days at Camp David or his ranch in California during his eight years in office, according to the Reagan Library. (By my count, Bush actually beat Reagan's mark on Dec. 30, during his Christmas vacation in Crawford.) LOL! I guess, you Republicans prefer lazy shiftless Presidents. I love the fact that he's been out there getting our reputation back in order and working to making us #1 in the world again! OBAMA! OBAMA! OBAMA! ;D

And...let's add another one to the growing list!
GOP “Family Values” Tenn. Sen. Embroiled in Intern Sex Scandal, Blackmail
Quite a sex scandal is emerging from the bible belt of Nashville, Tennessee, involving Republican family values state lawmaker, Sen. Paul Stanley, 47 and extramarital sex, lies, a videotape and blackmail.
Stanley’s sexual relationship with his 22-year-old intern became public, when the intern’s spurned boyfriend sought some payback and allegedly tried to blackmail Stanley.
The details of this scandal ooze with sleaze. Stanley’s behavior now earns him membership in the growing club of Republican “family values” hypocrites, who preach morality to their constituents, while cheating on their wives. Stanley’s official bio describes the lawmaker as an Evangelical Christian who serves on the Administrative Board of the Christ United Methodist Church.
I ask ya'll again...is the Republican Party STILL the party of "family values"?
(and we're not even talking about what happened before this administration)

Those "Family Values" Republicans are at it again! LOL! California Congressman Charles Campbell adds another notch to the growing list of Post-Obama scandals! LOL! (Geez! When are the Democrats going to catch up with these guys! LOL When it comes to scandals, The Republicans are just kickin' their backsides!) Mike Duvall Resigns Amid Controversy Over Extramarital Affair Instead of being commended for ethical behavior, Mike Duvall and Heidi Dejong Barsuglia are in a whirlwind of political scandal.
Unlike other high-profile mistresses, Heidi Dejong Barsuglia could be in just as much trouble as the philandering politician. As a lobbyist, Heidi Dejong Barsuglia is held to a higher standard and a strict code of ethics.www.associatedcontent.com/article/2158169/mike_duvall_resigns_amid_controversy.html

Steve Nunn: Murder Charge For Former GOP Lawmaker
FRANKFORT, Ky. — Lexington police charged former Kentucky lawmaker Steve Nunn with murder Monday in the death of his ex-girlfriend.
Nunn, 56, was also charged with violation of a protective order. Lexington police said warrants were served on Nunn after he was taken Monday to the Hart County jail.
He returned to state government in 2007 as deputy secretary of the Cabinet for Health and Family Services, but was put on administrative leave in February after being charged with domestic violence for allegedly striking Ross. He resigned in March.

And another one gone and another one gone, another one bites the dust! Sen. Tom Coburn...another "family values" conservative Republican caught in the act...he literally helped Sen Ensign cover up the affair he had and then tried to work out a deal between him and the mistress. Since Republican Senator John Ensign of Nevada has confessed to an extramarital affair with a female campaign staffer married to one of his top Senate staffers, none of his Republican colleagues have been more supportive of him than his apartment roommate in Washington, Sen. Tom Coburn of Oklahoma. On June 17, a day after Ensign’s revelation, Coburn pleaded for forgiveness. “If you look at it in the light of everybody makes errors, at least he fessed up and resolved the problem with his family,” Coburn said, “so I think it speaks well of his corrective force.” Coburn also told a crowd of reporters of his 51-year-old roomie, "He is a bright young man. Lots of people make mistakes." His transformation from anti-sex crusader to adultery enabler has been overnight. www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and-stories/2009-06-21/ensigns-sex-scandal-enabler/full/
