If everyone would introduce themselves that would be great. We encourage diversity, it makes a better learning experience for all! Take care!

Ill go first... I was born and raised Catholic, was hard headed and did not believe a thing that was taught to me. I thought the Bible was a book someone had made up. I continued this way till 2001 when my father died. I started to believe in something then, but still had no idea of what i believed. Then in 2006 i had my son and decided that it was my duty to raise my child as a Christian. So i started studing for the truth and i believe that "the journey home" program was a big part of my decision going back to the Catholic Church. My husband is Southern Baptist and i am raising my son Catholic. Although we have different beliefs, we both appreciate each others love for Jesus. Thats my story and im sticking to it

Hi! I'm Cephas. I'm shy, quiet and pretty reserved. I'm not too sure about what I believe. I hope to learn a lot here. I'm very meek.

Hello My name is Emily (obviously), but you are welcome to call me Em, Emmy, M, whatever. I am 21, and live in NE Ohio with my husband and doggie. I was Saved when I was 17 and just recently joined a baptist church. I am a junior in college studying Speech-Language Pathology. I am a stutterer, that's what drew me to the major. (If you don't know what stuttering is, just ask and I'll let you know ) I love Jesus/God sooooo much and I am so very thankful for all He has done for me. Um...that's it I think.

Hi!
My name is Alfie (female) and I was invited to register on your forum so I thought I would drop in and take a look around. I'm an Evangelical and have been banned from several Catholic forums. I hope you will let me stick around for a while and I will try real hard to behave myself but I can't promise you I will because I have a mean streak in me. Can't help it, it's just my nature.
sorry!

Hi All------------
I am knuckle male father of six grandfather of four.I was raised Baptist (I still attend a Baptist church) but after much study I have come to a place where I can no longer call myself Baptist---For those of you familiar with the writings of Origen you have a pretty close idea of the doctrine I hold.I am an evangelist in Spirit and am not ashamed to preach Jesus in a parking lot,in front of a bar or crack house.I love my brethren, good preaching,a good bible study(with emphasis on BIBLE) blue grass gospel music .I believe that we are saved by grace through the faith of Jesus Christ and not doctrine.I believe that it is our duty to bring every one we meet to Him.
much love-------------knuckle

I'm Juan, from Colombia, been in the Sates for about 8 years. I'm 19. Raised Catholic, was sort of "religious", though didn't pay too much attention to my faith - though it surely was there. In High School I went throgh the usual "is God really there" "does He really care [about me]" stuff, but slowly started actually getting closer to Jesus on my own accord (through the Spirit, of course). Later I joined with the Christian people at my school, most of which were Protestant, and we worshipped God together and stood against the devil and the world.
Then I started discerning call into Priesthood, thought I would go to Seminary, but the Spirit of God has leave me to Ave Maria University: where I have finally found happiness after about 7 years in the United States... And I found true Catholics, which lead me to re-examine how I viewed the Church, which lead me to lover Her and defend Her as I do now.
I got saved through Baptism (1 Ptr 3:20-21) when I was a baby. I received Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior for the first time in my First Communion (not truly knowing what it meant), and try to receive Him everyday.
Pax Christi.
