Hi Cepha-------------
the trinitarian belief states that God is composed of three co-equal entities that make up one God--Father,Son, and Holy Ghost
Oneness states that a Single entity (God) holds three offices----Father ,Son,and Holy Ghost
I believe that God is Father Begot Jesus (part of God became a separate entity) His Son and that the Holy Ghost is the two together.
Jesus is "God" because it is the office He holds but He is not Father---Revelations states that when God becomes all in all then Jesus will present the kingdom to Father and step down from being God

Can you show me the scripture that states that Jesus will cease being God upon handing over The Kingdom to God The Father?

"Now, whenever all may be subjected to Him, THE SON HIMSELF ALSO SHALL BE SUBJECTED TO HIM Who subjects all to Him, that God may be All in all" (I Cor. 15:28).
Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Rev 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. Rev 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. Rev 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

And Him referring to mankind as the one's who thirst. During His earthly life, this is exactly what He promised His followers. All those quotes there Jesus said in His life. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Revelation 21:3-7 3And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, "Behold, (A)the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will (B)dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them ,
4and He will (C)wipe away every tear from their eyes; and (D)there will no longer be any death; (E)there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; (F)the first things have passed away."
5And (G)He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am (H)making all things new " And He said, "Write, for (I)these words are faithful and true."
6Then He said to me, "(J)It is done I am the (K)Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end (L)I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the (M)water of life without cost.
7"(N)He who overcomes will inherit these things, and (O)I will be his God and he will be My son.

That's a tricky set of quotes, right?
How does one decipher when they both say the same thing and neither are separated from each other?

Yes Cepha,Jesus Christ did say all those things
Joh 8:26 I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him. Joh 8:27 They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.
"And the word which you are hearing is NOT Mine, but the Father’s Who sends me" (John 14:24).

He is subordinate "to" The Father. Even He says that He does nothing of His own accord, but that of The Father's.

The Greeks like to talk about the monarchy of God the father ... and although we disagree as to what the monarchy of God the father is, I think that is a good way to describe the role of the father.
God the father in addition to being the creator of the physical world, and the spiritual realm of angels and souls, is also the source of the 2 other members of the trinity, namely God the son, and God the Holy Ghost.
However this does not mean that the others members are not co-eternal, for they have always existed alongside God, because they are God ... it is important to grasp this to realize that whatever God has, God is, because God does not have parts.
God has a selfconcept thats origin is in him, yet having one makes this self concept a part of God, and being perfect God's self concept is also prefect, a perfect selfconcept of God is God.
This selfconcept which God has always had, is God the son Jesus Christ.
The spirit is the love that is exchanged between them, remember since everything God has, God is ... that means if God has love for his self concept, and his selfconcept which is also God has love for the father, then that love also exists and is apart of God.
Now I should mention that some might notice that I said the spirit is the love exchanged between both the father and the son ... proceeding from both, thus the filioque clause, which in no way threatens the monarchy of God the father, because firstly the spirit would not exist without the father, because the self concept that is loved would not exist without the father, and secondly because as the ecumenical council of florence stated the spirit is proceeds from the father and the son, as from one single spiration, there are not two spirations one from the father, and another from the son, but rather one single spiration from both which the son contributes to as a priveledge granted him by the father.
So in essence God the father is the source of all things, he is who is, and he is the only being who exists in and of himself, everything else even the other members sharing in the one divine essence, owe their origin to him.
