Indeed there are many theories put out by atheists which claim that there is no God. Some of them are valid objections, though most of the time they are misconceptions.
There are theories which do not deny the existance of God/god, but that may deny the existance of the Jude-Christian God.
But there are also answers to all these objections, and further "proofs" or theories in favor of the existance of God.
---
However, as Evangelical Apologist William Craig often suggests in debates, merely talking about God and having theories about whether He exists or not, is not enough. We have to give more, we have to look for Him and be open to Him. Dr. Craig often reminds the audience that one must "Draw near to God and he will draw near to you" (James 4:8).
While it is good to do apologetics (with atheists, or our Catholic/Protestant apologetics), we must not forget that we are not doing for our sake, but for God's glory.
We must not draw far from Him. We must not be lost in theories of Him. We ought to be convinced of Him not only through Reason but also through faith, which is often fanned through experience.
We must draw close to God, keep a relationship with Him (something that Catholics can learn from Evangelicals). We must get to know Him and to love Him.
We cannot get people to turn to God and expect them to love God, when we ourselves do not believe in Him nor love Him...
Lord God, increase our faith, hope and love for You! Through Christ our Lord, and with the intercession of our Lady, Mary Most holy, your first disciple who commands us to "do everything You tell us." Amen.
