May God, who sees all things, and who is the Ruler of all spirits and the Lord of all flesh -- who chose our Lord Jesus Christ and us through Him to be a peculiar people -- grant to every soul that calls upon His glorious and holy Name, faith, fear, peace, patience, long-suffering, self-control, purity, and sobriety, to the well-pleasing of His Name, through our High Priest and Protector, Jesus Christ, by whom be to Him glory, and majesty, and power, and honour, both now and for evermore. Amen. -First Clement (c. 80 AD) www.earlychristianwritings.com/1clement.html

Some people.. nay.. MANY people had to watch the TV in a big tent outside, in the Lecture Hall, and on the Cafeteria! I'm sure many others missed it...

Amen, blessings to all.
That reminds me of something...does anybody know why there is a little bell rung when The Priest consecrates The Bread?
Because there was a time where the Churches were so overflowing that there'd be crowds outside of the Church in the streets hearing the Mass and attending "from" outside.
So, the bell would be rung to notify the crowds outside that it was time to bow down to the presence of Christ manifesting itself in The Eucharist.
Beautiful...ain't it?
And the crowds outside of The Church would bow down in worship to the physical presence of God.
