If I were Satan and I wanted to create a church which would be the most logical one to create the Catholic Church which appears to be all sugar and spice or a church that is divided into many different denominations? The Bible says that Satan comes as an angel of light so the obvious choice would be the Catholic Church which claims to be so perfect. Satan would want to create a church to deceive people who believe that sacraments and works will save their souls. While he was doing that he would also be working over time to infiltrate the true church (Evangelical) by weakening it through liberalism and other means in order to keep people from hearing the true salvation message. Think about it a billion people in one Catholic church who believe that following a bunch of rules and regulations will get them to heaven. Satan is a master of deception.. Just a thought! OMG...how ridiculous! |

If I were Satan I would keep folks looking at petty differences I would bolster the fear and hate of that which is different.I would put folks eyes on doctrine ad take them off Jesus.I would convince every oe that different means wrong.

It is the Protestants who are deceived, the 30,000 other denominations who are deceived. Jesus would NEVER make 30,000 denominations with contradictory beliefs. NEVER. He founded the Catholic church whether you like it or not. It is a fact. Catholics follow what Jesus had written in his bible. And that is EXACTLY why we have a pope, bishops and priests. We have Apostolic Succession, something you could NEVER claim, so get off your high horse and take a history lesson, you might learn something. |

Tony Blair (former prime minister of Great Britain) is a recent convert to Catholicism. Jimmy DeYoung and John Ankerberg who have both written books on prophecy believe Mr. Blair may be the anti-Christ because he fits the requirements needed for it.

Newt Gingrich also became a recent convert. The Supreme Court has 5 Catholic Justices on it and if Judge Sotomayor is put on the court, that will make 6 out of 9 (the other 2 being Protestant and the last one being Jewish) Catholic Judges. And guess what! On cases of abortion, she's always sided with the Pro-Life side! If she gets on, maybe we can repeal Roe V. Wade and end abortion! ;D |

Jan Markell made an interesting statement last night on the Jewish Voice program. She said there have been many anti-Christs down through the ages. There is always one prepared and ready for each generation because satan never knows Gods plans.
So that explains why the Catholic Church remains unified. Satan needs the RCC for his one world religion but he never knows when the time will be right to raise up the anti-Christ.

It could be anyone who doesn't believe in Christ but since I was refering to the last days it would be a political person with charisma who will become a world leader and will want to destroy Israel and all of the Christians in the world. |

The Biblical definition of "anti christ" is anyone that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh/ is the Son of God.
The Catholic Church has always confessed those things, not only that but Jesus Christ is the center and focus of everything we do. How can loving Jesus Christ be "anti christ"? that makes no sense.
But if you want my personal opinion on some "one world religion" that is also political, I think the answer is SUPER obvious. It is Islam. Islam is anti'christ because it claims to believe in Jesus Christ, but denies that He is the Son of God--the exact Biblical definition of anti-christ. They believe in beheading infidels (esp. Muslims that convert to Christianity). Also, and very importantly, true Islam does not separate politics from religion. To them, they are one thing. Islam has always been political. Also, as far as numbers, Islam probably has more adherants than Christianity (or soon will because so many Christians use birth control). Research the Islamic view of the "end times' and you will totally agree with me.

I used to think it was the Moslems but I no longer believe that because the book of Ezekial says that the Jews will be given most of the Middle East for their country. So that tells me that most of the Moslems will be killed and that is before the anti-Christ takes power. |

You still haven't given me any Bible verses.
Islam is already anti-christ. The Bible says there are already anti-christs. To me, there is no point in trying to figure out "end times". But there is a warning there from St. John, and the Holy Spirit about avoiding anti-christs. It matters what you believe.
Where are you coming up with these ideas? Honestly, is it from your own private interpretation of the Bible, or your church/pastor or a book, someone on TV or a combination of some of those?
