I mean...did you really think that we were lying to ya when we said a thousand times that we DONT worship Mary? You can keep coming with these questions and false acusations all day long and we will keep showing you the truth. CC, Our just "saying" we don't do it isn't good enough. If she's being bombarded by anti-Catholic rhetoric and misindoctrination, the only thing we can do is post our "official" beliefs as I did with The Catechism's teaching on Mary. That speaks for itself. It needs no interpretation, nor defense. Any reasonable person can see that no where is Mary said to be worshipped. If they keep saying it, then they can't use The Official Teachings of The Church to prove that leaving the question, from "where" are they getting their evidence?

M, this is you (the one on the bulldozer):youtube.com/watch?v=GimtDrTVv9A This is what Jesus looks like M... Here, The Pope forgives and prays with and for the man who attempted to murder him. I didn't watch much of the video...but why would I crush a bunch of people..? That was very nice of the pope.

Watch the video.
It's beautiful.
It's about a Protestant church pastor who spiritually disarms a man who wanted to knock down his church.
I love the movie it came from: "The Apostle" with Robert Duvall.

I would be surprized if a saint who was an Augustinian would say this, which is indeed a gross overexageration of the role alloted to Mary on the behalf of us sinners.
Augustinians as a rule have been very christocentric and very scripture centric in their spirituality.
Since you are a protestant I only need to remind you that Martin Luther had been an Augustinian friar when he started the reformation, and I do very much belief he was in part influenced by the spirituality of his order, indeed many of the first lutheran pastors were former augustinian monks, the augustinian chapter in germany was greatly devistated by the reformation, and since monastic life as a whole suffered due to it, that is truely saying something.

Pax Know something? Luther rocked when he was right! It's been said that The Church is considering offering him complete absolution because of the repentance he expressed at the results of his works. Just like the nutjobs took actual Church teachings before Protestantism to do horrible things in The Church's name, Protestants took Martin Luther's teachings and used them as a basis to do horrible things.
