Ok, so if Jesus did not mean that the bread and wine was his blood and body, then why didnt he just say, "take this bread and eat it, doing so you will have eternal life..and take this wine and drink it, you will have eternal life."
I mean, if we take the Bible literal, then we need to take it literally, and do what Jesus told us to do.
