This is a quote from King Baldwin IV who told Balian this in the movie Kingdom of Heaven when he was telling him that "your soul is your own".
Some might see this as a condemnation on my part to those who are not Catholic Christians for their not being Catholics, but nothing could be further from the truth...it's a line I use to reference myself against and to use as a measuring stick for my behaviour.
Sometimes, I know I go overboard and hurt feelings get the best of me. I know this. So I have to keep this line somewhere on this forum in order to keep myself responsible for my posts.
When I stand before God to be judged, I will have no excuses...my words and my soul are my own...none of "the devil made me do it!" over here.
