Who is the preacher in this video? Very sad that he had to preach this sermon! The Reformation began over the issue of indulgences (buying ones way to heaven) and here we have modern day Protestants committing the same sin the Catholic church was condemned for doing. Prosperity preaching is just a form of the corrupt Catholic indulgence system. |

I'll find out for you.  Exactly. Other reasons that the Reformation was attempted by Catholics? Having a teaching authority. Now, Protestants have teaching authorities called "councils". Prosperity preaching has nothing to do with Catholicism. It was invented by and used only by non-Catholic Christians. Matter of fact, Catholics were criticized for the opposite...preaching piety. Some say that wealth is a blessing by God and that it means that God automactically approves of your lifestyle, but that runs into trouble here: Prostitutes, Porn Stars, Drug Dealers and corrupt politicians all are wealthy and they aren't doing God's work. Jesus was firm about seeking material wealth and instructed us to live piously...something only The Catholic Church teaches today while other churches teach that if you aint rich, you aint blessed.  One thing we know for sure, it's not The Catholic Church this preacher is preaching to.  |

the man is Donnie Swaggart son of publicly disgraced televangelist Jimmy Swaggart (sex scandals)
I listened for a few minutes and found it odd that the finger pointing wasn't aimed at his dear old dad (perhaps he was crying for him when he spoke) but the message was good
