The Osprey, a military plane that is a profound failure costed the US 100 Million Dollars.
How many poverty level children could we have put through college with that money?
How many homes would we have prevented from being foreclosed on?
How many homes in the Tornado ravaged Midwest could we have rebuillt?
If that's not proof that this isn't a Christian country, I don't know what is.

Yes, we do great things for "other" countries running to their aid, but what about us?
When are Americans going to be helped out instead of war machine & oil company big businesses?
These past 8 years have been the worst I've ever experienced in my life.
I can't wait until we get rid of that abomination in The White House.
Only evil has come out of The White House (scandals, lies, unjustified war, security risks, etc...).
I hope the balance tips over this year to common sense.

Just today McCain said he would do away with any further funding for the Osprey... so put that in your pipe and smoke it!

Uh, what does John McCain have to do with this?
He still wants to be there another 100 years (as he's said).
But that's another topic.
This is about a waste of our money (besides the wasted money and lives on the occupation of Iraq).
And you didn't have to be that nasty with your comment...besides; don't smoke...never have, never will.

Well, we could always ask why help everyone in africa, and other poor stricken places when we have starving people here... I feel like this...America First...then we could help out other nations. We can't be responsible for those nations who are irresponsible with their countries. We are however responsible for caring for those nations going through tough times. The number one problem in the US is indulgence. Even starving people here are overweight. It leads to other sicknesses that are related to obesity because we simply overconsume. We have too much. We are the Roman Empire of our day. We are the Babylon, the Egypt, the Greece of our day. It just boggles me how corrupt this nation is, how perverted and loathsome it is. We have so much good in this country that goes unreported, and the evil is sensationalized (materialism, fornication, etc...). Divorce is celebrated, God is ignored, immoral acts are encourages and seen as "normal". Sometimes, I feel so out of place here. I live in a great area, I'm blessed and all that and live a great life, but I'm concerned for our nation. You can't even watch a Disney movie anymore without perverted references. I complain because I love America. Hopefully, the next President will bring about a change in our country where we go from 'me, me, me' to "us".
