hey Cepha--------- are you saying that there are good jokes on these forums or that these forums are a big joke? gotta learn to take the good with the bad Bro. much love-----------knuckle LOL! I am "jokingly" saying that they are jokes. There are some sites that earnestly believe they can save Catholics from Christ. I didn't list those that were (in my opinion) charitable in their efforts. There are some that believe their doing the right thing, but are wrong...however, because of the lack anti-Catholicism on their site, I cannot call them anti-Catholic in good faith. Believing that Catholics are wrong is not anti-Catholic...slandering and misindoctrinating and speaking uncharitably about Catholics is anti-Catholic and that sort of behaviour has no place in a Christian. I believe that those who reach out to Catholics out of love are good Christians. The sites I listed above are jokes...they say really crazy stuff and they even attack Protestants.

when you were over at USA did you get a chance to talk with Zed or Hospy or Peaceful or any of the many other Catholics that are there?

Peaceful sounds familiar, but I can't say I remember for sure. From what I've heard, after my departure, CUSA has eased up big time on their online silencing of Catholics there and are allowing more dissention from their anti-Catholic rhetoric. Still, it's my understanding that they still heavily moderate members there who prove them wrong theologically.

Hi Cepha--------------
Please don't take this the wrong way,but it isn't catholicism that was being moderated it was the debate style.CUSA is not a debate forum,it is a fellowship forum. One can go on the board and make any statement about doctrine they wish but they cannot argue the point.Take the discussion that RSF and KJB are having now---Sox is presenting the opinions that you did when you were there-- the same ones Zed and Hospy and others have for years which has always been acceptable on the forum.
I could present any doctrine (And I have presented the UR doctrine much to the dismay of many) and back it up with scripture and have no worry of being banned until I cross the line and begin debating.
Your use of Marcie as a ringer(her newbie act is world class by the way,had me fooled big time) is also considered dirty pool on CUSA as is the pushing of an agenda using a bait and switch.(using a thread topic then hijacking the thread to a certain end)
the atmosphere there is supposed to be that of a group of friends sitting around discussing beliefs with a little bible study thrown in.For the most part they hold to it and are a pretty good bunch.
much love--------------knuckle

PS I agree that there are many good Christians there...even they let me know that they disagreed how I was being treated by the Mods/Admins there and that I was treated unfairly.
Besides, we had a post here by IMA with his exchange with their Admin there showing all her disrespectful, unChristian behaviour.
I removed it at the request of KJB I believe it was or KJK in the spirit of fellowship (I always mix them up).
As soon as I did that in good faith, he then began to insult us here then left himself.
Ultimately, if they were here, I would've owned them. Matter of fact, when they were here, I owned them. No matter how many things they said that would've gotten me banned on their site, I didn't ban them...I just owned them.
There's no better proof of a concession than one banning themselves.

then perhaps cusa is a chatroom.
UR=universal reconciliation
the reason posts are edited is to prevent debate-- so I agree,NO ONE can ARGUE their points but one can present them.
So Marcie is the mastermind?who would have thought it?she just seemed so sweet and innocent her card reads Marcie Ann D,super genius. The road runner better watch his p's and q's if he comes on this board.

First i want to say LOL on the forum topic. That was the best joke on here!
Second, knuckle what do you mean by the newbie act? Im confused.
Church usa was the first forum i had ever been to, and i was oblivious to how other christians thought of the Catholic faith. Stunned really and i learned alot from that site, about other religions and what they believed. I never really questioned anyone elses faith before so i had no clue.

You know something CC? That's one thing I've learned about Southern Baptists... ...I never knew that there were so many anti-Catholics among them. I though that anti-Catholicism was the stuff of non-denominationalists. It certainly opened up my eyes to them. Just today I was thinking to myself what you just wrote! ;D

But honestly, I get such a kick from those sites.
I literally laugh out loud.
Especially with what they say.
I imagine them foaming at the mouth and spitting and their eyes bulged out, screaming at the computer when they write these things.

i really was dumb, i learned alot fast for sure. I heard things but did not know for sure, i wanted to hear peoples opinions from themselves than to hear from others about others faiths. Basically i wanted to hear it from the source not here-say.
