I'm torn.
On the one hand, I don't believe in imposing my will on anyone else and what they do in my opinion is between them and God.
On the other hand, it's difficult for me to be part of a country that allows things that offend God as part of the law of the land.
While the U.S. is a great country when it comes to helping others, we seem to be The Rome of our day. Abortion, Pornography, these types of legal marriages.
The only thing that disturbs me is that God won't be pleased. I personally (again) don't care about what two people do. They are entitled to rights in this country, but my gosh, what is God going to do with us?
I have to confess something to you my friends...I'm scared for America.

Yep, its those darn Democrats that keep pushing for the gay rights. Its wrong period. I believe people can do what they want with their lives, but when you want the world to conform to it, that is wrong.

Well, I guess my test is working. When I posted on Christ & Church centered topics, this site died. But I when I post on controversial topics, then it seems to come alive again. Sigh...

Just look at what happened in Iowa lately with all of the flooding. Gods judgement I guess. See what happened to them when they voted for Obama. They merited God's rath.

Are you saying that God would spite a part of the country that doesn't recognize gay marriage just because another section does? Are you saying that God is unfair and would take the innocent along with the guilty? So now, God is "anti-Obama" too? Wow. Don't forget...McCain also won Iowa too.

Are you saying that God is unfair and would take the innocent along with the guilty? Not that many people voted for McCain compared to Obama. Besides you seem to have thought God's judgement was on New Orleans when it got hit with hurricane Katrina. Innocent people died there too did they not?

Well, it certainly didn't have anything to do with their politicians, but with thier lifestyles and their perversions of His Church's holidays for their own whims. I not only thought it, but I prophesized it literally days before. I said "God is going to wipe that place out with a flood." And it happened. But I didn't see God using what happened at Mardi Gras as a way to punish those in Iowa. And if He punished Iowa for voting more for Obama than they did for McCain, then why didn't He punish states that voted in larger numbers for Obama than did Iowa? That would be unfair of God to wipe out a state that voted in lesser numbers than to wipe out a state that voted in greater numbers. Oh, and by the way...I made a mistake; it was Mike Huckabee (The Chrisitian Pastor) that won Iowa, not John McCain. And...Iowa is a "Red" state...a Republican Stronghold. And, if what you're saying is true, then since the 90's under the Clinton Presidency were the best time we had (lower abortions, lower gay marriages, lowest unemployment, more charity, greater prosperity, peace, etc...), then God must have been most pleased with us under Democratic rule. Under Republicans, we've had greater abortions, more gay marriages, highest unemployment, highest plant closing, greatest outsourcing of American jobs, less charity, and naturally speaking, more natural disasters than ever (record breaking hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, fires, etc...).
