I used to use the NIV until I found out it took out verses. I dont oppose to people using it, I just choose not to.

That's why I use the KJV <3

I use the KJV. I have read parts of others and found that some of the verses are the interpretation of men, and by comparing different versions, one can get different messages.

Would you say that it is perfect for you?

I find it the best, and therefore use it almost all of the time. I wouldn't say that it was without error due to translation, but I consider it the best version.

The official LDS version of the Bible is the KJV. I personally like it the best, and I have read other versions as well. When we study the Bible in Church or quote from it, it is always the KJV.

It is the standard KJV. It is published by the LDS Church with additional footnotes and cross references to other LDS scriptures. scriptures.lds.org

I didn't go on a mission.
I believe that everyone should be an example to others and not afraid to share what they believe, so in a way we are all missionaries.

NRSV for me. It is considered by many to be the best version for exegesis.

OK there is a new bible version that is catholic and has been released in England. It is basically a JB with corrections made and apparently good notes from a benedictine. I think it's called the CTS Bible. Anyone seen or have it?
