So now, the Republicans in their "divide" the country tactics that have served them well in the past are claiming that Obama called Palin a pig when he made the "put lipstick on a pig comment".
It's obviously to anyone who can turn on a computer that he was referring to McCain's new "CHANGE!" banner and his trying to be the candidate of change (although he's been in Washington for over 26 years).
The thing is that if enough Americans are stupid enough to fall for this, then we deserve to get McCain/Palin and we will deserve to get another continuation of Republican corruption and political abuse.
If they win, the good people of the world will surely wash their hands of us as we are showing that we either haven't learned anything in the last 8 years or that we "meant" what has happened in the last 8 years.
God cannot be happy with how this race is going. McCain has done a complete 180 degree turn from what he used to be just to win an election. What makes the Republicans think he's going to remain faithful to them after supposedly being such a "maverick" for all of these years?
The Republicans have destroyed our country. If we support them, then we deserve what we get. We will become like Rome or like Egypt or Greece...another great civilization on it's way down.
And who's on their way up? China. Russia is making a comeback. Radical Islam.
America needs God. We can no longer call ourselves a Christian nation...not with McCain in the White House.
He and Palin are proven liers. If we choose liers, then God will not be with us. He just won't folks.
We will (as a country) be responsible for the leaders we choose.
A war monger and a lier for Prez and VP.
May God enlighten the hearts of the majority of the American people and deliver us from what is about to come.

What troubles me the MOST about Palin's record, is that in her "big speech" she said that people with disabilites would have an "advocate" in the White House if she were VP.
I have a niece with severe autism and a disabled brother.
Is this an advocate? :
"During her few years as governor, she vetoed $275,000 for Alaska's Special Olympics — half the amount being sought. Money for a program that helps rural school districts provide special education has remained flat. But she supported another legislative proposal to boost spending for students with special needs by some 175 percent in 2011."

Sorry, but an "advocate" is not just someone who will give you the basics and nothing more.
Maybe she should have used the money from selling the Jet on EBAY and given it to special olympics. THAT would be an advocate.

She put it up like 3 times but no one would buy it. It was purchased by private buyers later. And by the way, that "private" jet was not only used by government officials, but it was a prisoner transport plane. She tried to make it sound like it was a luxury item. She's lobbied for more pork money for her state than any other governor in the U.S.. That's why they aren't allowing her to be interviewed even though it's been two weeks since she was announced. Charlie Gibson (Republican friendly) is going to be her first interview. They won't allow the press to ask her questions and guess what...they now want to put off the investigation into her abuse of political power until (get this) "after" the election! Do you believe the nerve they have? |
