Not only that, he abandoned his wife after she was disfigured in an accident breaking his marriage vow to marry his current wife having taken out their marriage certificate while he was still married to his first wife. He can't be trusted with the mother of his children, how can be be trusted with our lives?

the man is insane just thinking about the possibility of him having access to red phones and launch codes is a night mare I can't believe how many Catholics are voting for him just because he's "mostly" Pro-Live (which to me is false. to be "almost" Pro-Life...that's like being a "little bit pregnant").

He has a son or 2 that is inlisted in the army or marines or whatever, so its not like he is not worried about lives being lost, he truly believes we are there for a good reason. And you dont see him boasting about it on tv

Embryos are babies. As far as I know, he voted in favor of embryonic stem cell research.
Keep in mind that our savior, the Lord Jesus, was at one time an embryo.

And you dont see him boasting about it on tv Actually, I've seen him boasting about his own service at almost every campaigning event he's done. As for his kids, them being the children of a sitting Senator, I'm sure their kept in safe zones. It's common. Just like he was released early when he was in captivity because he was the son of a high ranking military officer. If he really cared for the soldiers, why didn't he vote for the most recent G.I. Bill last month which was set up to secure our military men & women's future when they return? (Obama did vote "Yes" while McCain didn't even bother showing up to vote )

Keep in mind that our savior, the Lord Jesus, was at one time an embryo. teresa I love to ask Pro-Abortion Catholics, what if Mary had an Abortion? Again, he says it's okay to murder unborn children if it's suggested by a doctor or if the woman was raped or in cases of incest. And, he offers no plan to decrease abortions or to support mothers who have children without fathers. In fact, he's against such programs. Abortion isn't going to go away with the choice of a leader who isn't 100% anti-Abortion. It just isn't. So who do we choose? The one who most represents The Church's policy of dealing with the problem as we have it now. The one who actually has Church-like beliefs when it comes to preventing the conditions that lead to abortions (the #1 reason for abortions is poverty...FACT). At least Obama is honest about his stance. McCain is two faced when it comes to abortion. I'm not voting for Obama because he's pro-abortion. I'm voting for him because under him, abortions will come down. Why? Because over recent history, under a Democratic President, abortion has come down due to the policies they've instituted (social programs, education, etc...) while under the Republicans who go around giving tax breaks to big corporation while putting more burden on the working man, abortions go up because they cut social programs. Republicans had the Presidency/Senate/Congress for almost 8 years. Did they wipe out abortion? No. Not even with 5 Catholics on the Supreme Court.

My biology teacher in college, was talking about a new thing they just found that they can take skin cells and use them as stem cells. Pretty cool and could save many lives! Embryos are babies. As far as I know, he voted in favor of embryonic stem cell research. Keep in mind that our savior, the Lord Jesus, was at one time an embryo. teresa

Yes! that breakthrough happened back in Nov. 07 and it should put to shame any so-called pro lifers that supported embryonic stem cell research. Embryonic destruction is really unnecessary now, but human pride and curiosity will continue to pursue it. There is even a patent on a device whose sole purpose is the harvesting of stem cells from an embryo. A death machine with a patent! Sounds like the electric chair, or....the cross? Even Rome got rid of that death machine when they became Christian. We are certainly more pagan that Rome ever was, yet most of us say we are Christian!

Pro - he doesn't kill babies Oh yes he does. To my knowledge he has consistently voted pro-life. T brought up the stem cell research which I haven't heard of about either nomination on that one. Still the overriding factor for me is abortion.

Heck it should be 99 cents since Exon is less then ten miles down the road. lol I said it, the same thing that happened during Bush I is happening now. As we get closer to having a Democratic President again, the cost of living goes down just like it did under President Clinton! Once we get that Oil Man out of The White House, you'll see prices drop dramatically.

I think they dropped because we can now drill for more oil. Actually, the oil we'd drill for wouldn't get to us for years and years and years. That wouldn't drop the price. And we have plenty of oil now. Remember? We "own" Iraq (the world's #3 oil reserve). So supply and demand is "not" why the prices dropped. When was it that they shot up? Not because of The War. They exploded when Bush became President (before 9/11). Then what happened? We bombed Iraq and took the world's #3 provider of oil off of the market. This is when prices shot up. Now, what business are Bush & Cheney in? Oil. They literally took out their competition. This made their respective companies extremely profitable. And notice, Bush never talked about getting out of Iraq until now (his last 6 months in office). How is it that in a world that every area of the economy is suffering and experiencing record breaking losses Oil Companies are posting record breaking profits? Do the math. Oil Men in The White House? Oil prices shoot up because of the decisions they make. Who stands to profit? Oil Men. Who are profitting now? Oil Men. McCain is in with these guys. If he wins, I guarantee you that prices will go up again. Under our last Democratic President, we had the lowest prices of gas when adjusted for inflation ever and the entire country did well (not just the upper class). Again, as Obama's ratings go up, gas prices go down. As his ratings go down, gas prices go up. Don't believe me? Just look at how prices dropped within the last two weeks. Now as his ratings go down, watch gas prices go back up.
