Okay, for July 28, I'm a new Catholic and I still haven't figured out what the phrase "crossing the Tiber" is supposed to mean!
Help

Hi Teresa------------
it is taken from the Vatican's physical location on the river it is a catch phrase about protestants 'returning" to the Catholic Church
I think that some also call crossing themselves as "crossing the Tiber" too but I am not sure about that
much love-------------knuckle

read the book crossing the tiber. It refers to swimming the tiber river that separates Rome/vatican from the other side.
They are also a "swim Team" on CAF. Not Cepha though because he tried wearing speedos and got banned from there because of it.

So I posted this picture of a Cigarette Speed Boat stating that that was how I crossed The Tiber! Then I demanded my "Crossing The Tiber" T-Shirt! LOL

Question for today:
Why do we bow during part of the Nicean creed and when did that start?

Ok I asked and we bow when we get to the part about Mary allowing the Holy Spirit to impregnate her with super baby Jesus.
