I'd like to start a thread about new Catholics. I need a support group! It is a very hard transition from Protestant to Catholic. (or from atheist to Catholic, etc.) Is there anyone out there like me? What is your story?
Also, a little story from RCIA
A few weeks before Easter I went to a retreat for RCIA. We were sitting in the Church and for some reason we were supposed to write something down. I was sitting by the Deacon's wife(who helps with RCIA) and since I didn't have a pen, she handed me one from her purse. I noticed the pen had writing on it that said "Methodist Rehabilitation Center". Being in a very spiritual retreat mode, I immediately asked her "Is that another name for RCIA?"
I found out that they often visit children's hospitals and physical therapy types of places.
