Defending the Church against EVERYONE!
They are not so much an apologetics organization, but they do defend the Church by setting the record and the facts straight.

I love The Catholic League!
Bill Donahue!
Love him!
;D
He once threatened Atheist Christopher Hitchens that he was going to give him a beat down on air for belittling Mother Teresa!
Wasn't very Christian of him, but I bet even God wanted to spank that Atheist down a few pegs!
LOL!

See how Mr. Hitchens wouldn't let Bill make a reply at all. They are always like that. They like making claims and being the last word, just like Fundamentalists. The truth always listens and lets the opposition speak, because the truth knows itself to be true, the falsity does not want to be exposed and it fears when she is not the last word.
Yesterday we were watching "Caso Cerrado" (jajaja!) and there was a lady from the Archdiocese of Miami attesting against abortion, and the pro-choice women didn't let her speak at all, she only interrupted her and "corrected" her, etc. She was afraid that she would be refuted by the truth.

Or did we ever see Plato shut somebody up when he was debating? Did we ever see Plato try to cover up what he was saying, did he try to be the last word and let no one refute him? By no means! He let the other people refute him, he let the other people ACCUSE him to death, he let the other people set charges against him, he let the other people come up with all kinds of philosophies and theories... He listened quietly (I suppose), and then at last gave his reponse and challenged the others' position.
No wonder he was called the Christian before Christ, sounds very Christ-like to me. Christ before Pilate, or before the Pharisees.
The truth is indeed like a sword, it is not a clud with which you beat people up, it is not an axe with which you cut people's members off. It is a sword which pierces deep and leaves a nasty mark which can defeat an enemy.
