Be warned, Catholics!

Following are excerpts from an address by Hamas MP and cleric Yunis Al-Astal, which aired on Al-Aqsa TV on April 11, 2008.

Yunis Al-Astal: Allah has chosen you for Himself and for His religion, so that you will serve as the engine pulling this nation to the phase of succession, security, and consolidation of power, and even to conquests thorough da'wa and military conquests of the capitals of the entire world. Very soon, Allah willing, Rome will be conquered, just like Constantinople was, as was prophesized by our Prophet Muhammad. Today, Rome is the capital of the Catholics, or the Crusader capital, which has declared its hostility to Islam, and has planted the brothers of apes and pigs in Palestine in order to prevent the reawakening of Islam – this capital of theirs will be an advanced post for the Islamic conquests, which will spread through Europe in its entirety, and then will turn to the two Americas, and even Eastern Europe.

I believe that our children or our grandchildren will inherit our Jihad and our sacrifices, and Allah willing, the commanders of the conquest will come from among them. Today, we instill these good tidings in their souls, and by means of the mosques and the Koran books, and the history of our Prophets, his companions, and the great leaders, we prepare them for the mission of saving humanity from the hellfire on the brink of which they stand.

Let this be a call to (spiritual) war. Pray! These people are serious.

Islamic fundamentalists have been at it since I was a kid myself.
It's a lot of hot air if you ask me.
There aren't enough of them to take over.
Hopefully, the faithful Muslims will weed out the fundamentalists and then work on their religion.

It's what Catholicism went through with the Zealots of the Inquisition and Protestants will eventually go through the same thing when they've been around for as long as we and the Muslims have been around.

Not enough of them? It didn't take very many of them to overthrow Constantinople.
And by the way, a "faithful" Muslim must be committed to Jihad.
I think you mean that you hope the nominal Muslims and the moderate Muslims will weed out the fundamentalists.
Sorry, but they haven't given up their da'wa for over 1200 years, why would they stop now?
The big difference here is that the Catholic "zealots" and Crusaders weren't following the commands of their religion. They stepped outside of the spirit of their religion.
However, those who follow Islam are OBEYING their religion in Jihad.
I would not be suprised at all if America fell to Islam in our lifetimes (or Europe for that matter)

It's not that they are necessarily OUR enemies, but WE are their enemies. That is why we need to pray and not pretend like everything is fine.

By the way, guess what the Saudis are doing with all their oil money? They are putting into brand new(fundamentalist) schools in places like Turkey, Indonesia, and the USA. I've seen it first hand in Turkey. Many secular/nominal Muslim families are taking their kids out of the poorly run public schools and putting them into these private schools where they become Wahhabi radicals.
