I may be wrong here, but i feel like someone is Christian if they believe Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior, that He died on the cross for our sins, and believes in the trinity. That is my def of a Christian!

Does The Holy Bible teach us what defines a Christian? It is my understanding that the name "Christian" was first used at the church in Antioch. It was used as a derogatory term by the general public there to designate the "Christ followers," or "little Christs." There are many modern-day connotations of the word "Christian." In the broadest sense, it means one is not a Muslim or a Jew (or follower of some other major religion). Narrower definitions include members of a particular group who use the term to mean "those who are born again," or "those who have a personal relationship with Christ."

I've always been looking for a solid defintion Biblically.
It's easy for me to just to to my Priest and ask him, but then I will not have done the work myself. And it's always better for me to do it myself.
Are there any Biblical requisites?
Faith alone is not enough. Even Satan believes that Jesus is Who He is, but He's not saved.
But Faith is a requisite.
What else?
Faith, works, definately works. Jesus made it clear that one must strive to actively live a "Christian" life as defined by Scripture.
What else?

Believe AND be baptised. ?? Faith Works Baptism Now, we're not talking about attaining Heaven here, just what it takes to be a Christian. OH! The Eucharist! Holy Communion! (DUH?)

FOr me it's just someone who believes in Jesus Christ. It's a very broad term and doesn't really define much when it comes to what dogma they adhere to..etc.. Thats why the # of "christians" in the US is so large.

Does The Holy Bible teach us what defines a Christian? Yes, Romans 10:9-11 Romans 10:9-11 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. This doesn't state all of the requirements of what one must do to be a Christian. Don't forget, one must also partake of The Eucharist in order to be saved too. Romans 2 tells us that even non-believers are saved too. If they live The Word of God which is written on everyman's heart, but are not Jews (code for believers in scriptures, gentiles being non-believers in the Messiah), they too are saved (justified to God) while the so-called believer who has The Law yet doesn't live His Will, they are "not" saved. This is another example of belief not being enough to save one, but living His will along with one's faith is what saves them. Just like the goats and the sheep when Jesus condemned believers to hell.
