Baseless? I don't think so! What did McCain say was the opposite of an Arab? "A decent, family man, citizen"?
That is so blatently racist it is ridiculous.
There are over 3.5 million Arab-Americans.

You're quite possibly the worst republican since Barney Frank of the 90's. Or the best the Republican Party has to offer. You notice something about Anti-Obamians? They just love to hurl personal insults. They all have that in common. That, and they fact that they state lies about Senator Obama without a shred of evidence and won't cite their sources (those that have, I've actually proven to have racist ties to). I think they need to stop being so "bitter" and just accept that if he wins, their lives will change forever! LOL!

I CANT BELIEVE YOU WANT HIM TO BECOME ISLAM WHEN/IF HE BECOMES PRESIDENT!!!! Sounds like the devil coming out of you. Islam are not Christians! wow LOL! And you sound like those crazy Anti-Catholics who say I have the Devil in me! LOL! I hope he does become a Muslim. I'd love for him to give all of the Whack Jobs out there a heart attack! LOL! See, his "religion" has nothing to do with his political office. Remember, render unto Ceasar what is Ceasar's. Even Christ taught us that we must obey those in authority over us even if are not believers. So if Obama converts to Islam, you still (according to Jesus Christ) must obey his authority over you (except in areas that directly contradict your faith).

There are over 3.5 million Arab-Americans. teresa That's the thing though...Racists don't see that statement as Racist. To them, it's ok to say things like that. That's when that woman called Obama an Arab and he responded to her to the effect that, he's not an Arab, he's a decent man as if to say that Arabs aren't decent men. Outrageous. And even though McCain clearly states that Obama is a Christian and NOT an Arab, there are those who still say that Obama is a Muslim and an Arab. Who are they following if they are not listening to their own leader then? If they don't listen to McCain, where are they getting their misinformation from? That's why I say that Anti-Obamianism is mostly Racism. Period. I haven't heard anybody make a case as to why he shouldn't be elected. I just hear the stupid "he's an Arab or a Muslim". When they try to bring up his limit of experience because he's a Senator, then I bring up the fact that McCain is a Senator. Then they say that it's ok for him because he's been in Washington for 25 years. Then I say so then he's a Washington insider and how is he going to change things when he's been there for a quarter of a century? Then they start to curse me out and call me names and insult me (but won't answer my questions). ;D For all of the Arab haters, here's what the most respected and trusted Republican shared with us...

And the fact that democrats play the republicans are all racists card is disgusting. ANd yet I don't see anyone fighting that ridiculousness. Not all of them, just the majority of them as they work to use code words like "us" and "them" and "real Americans". Of course, I don't expect you to see that. You're not one of the "them" the racist Republicans are speaking of. I am. As is Teresa. That's why we seem to be the only ones here who speak out against it while all the White Republicans act as if it doesn't exist. Hey, doesn't surprise me. Hitler didn't think he was wrong. The South didn't think they were wrong during The Civil War. Rome didn't think it was wrong. They all thought they were right too. Republicans are wrong when it comes to race. Period. The only thing that I can respect from them is there stance on abortion and the bootstrap mentality, but that's it. Their weak on defense, their weak on moral leadership, their weak on the economy, their weak on ethical behavior. Their just weak all around. Even with that, with a Republican Senate/Congress/President, we still didn't eliminate Abortion. They spent that time on things that The Catholic Church is against...unjust war, misappropriation of taxes to benefit the wealthy while cutting programs that benefit the poor, corruption of The White House, Senate & Congress, etc... You not believing me to be a Republican at heart is actually a compliment, however, I disagree with far more regarding The Dems than I do with the Repubs. If I HAD TO pick, I'd have to remain a Republican. I'd never go Independent. That's a cop-out to me. To me, the Dems are weak and focus on too many unimportant issues and are way too nutty for me, but they are the best when it comes to protecting our Nation, when it comes to the economy and when it comes to developing the prosperity of ALL our citizens and frankly, that is government's job...to serve us. Let's leave "moral" legislating where it belongs...in the home, not in the government.

Just for the Record,
"Arab" is not a religion. In fact, there are millions of Christian Arabs. There are more non-Arab Muslims than Arab Muslims.
I don't care what his religion is, I'm still not going to vote for him because of the pro life issue.
I would vote for a Muslim if they had the same polical views as me. I don't think that Christianity should be the official religion of America; being a Christian should not be a requirement to be president.
