So I went to Church today and came across this flier of with Obama's image on it and a bloody hand print across his face.
The title is something to the affect of "Is it immoral to vote for Barack Obama?"
Inside of the pamphlet are images of a dismembered unborn infant that darn near brought tears to my eyes while making me nauseous.
The text stated that Obama was in league with Satan along with a slew of other derogatory remarks about Senator Obama.
All I could think of when I saw this was how could any Catholic Church allow this to be in the Santuary of God? How could such literature that goes directly against Catholic teaching and worse, against Jesus' teachings be allowed to be displayed just yards away from The Tabernacle which held The Body of Christ?
These are probably the same folks who go around murdering abortion doctors and bombing clinics. When one's fascination overtakes reason and they begin to do things that completely contradict what they are supposed to be preaching it only leads to one thing...fanaticism.
Then it hit me, this type of fundamentalist extremism is exactly what led 9/11. People doing what they thought was right in the eyes of God, yet was wrong in it's execution.
That pamphlet did two other things. It not only turned my stomach, but it scared me. When does one crime justify another? What crime did this individual commit?
In my eyes, he defiled Holy Ground by bringing his political views "into" The House of God. For me, The Church is a holy place for one thing and one thing only...worshipping God.
I've said this before and I'll say it again...I am 101% against Obama's stance on abortion.
But I am also against slandering, lieing, bearing false witness and against extremism of any kind.
They hypocrisy of this smear campaign is that it didn't once mention McCain's Pro-Abortion stances.

McCain Pro-Life? Not on your life
National Review Online’s Andrew McCarthy asks: Why does McCain get a pass on stifling the pro-life message in the service of suppressing free speech … for the benefit of pro-abortion Democrats?
There is only one candidate on the GOP side who has, in just the last few months and years, vigorously worked to defeat pro-life forces and frustrate the only policies that have a chance to reduce abortions; yet, conservatives have given him a total pass.
His name is John McCain.
Senator McCain, (recently endorsed by another pro-abortion group), has engaged in a years-long campaign against Wisconsin Right to Life, an organization dedicated to advancing the pro-life agenda. Conservatives, one might have thought, would be stunned by a grand-slam only the modern Left could love: McCain has (a) urged the courts to judicially legislate a (b) suppression of free-speech rights (c) against an anti-abortion group which was (d) trying to urge the confirmation of conservative Bush judicial nominees.
And the cherry on top? McCain’s exertions were singularly designed to protect one of the Senate’s most liberal incumbents: Russ Feingold (D., Wis.), McCain’s soul-mate in the evisceration of First Amendment rights (also known as the McCain/Feingold “campaign finance reform” law). A pro-abortion stalwart who scores a whopping 93 percent on NARAL’s pro-choice report card, Feingold has also opposed the Patriot Act and every sensible national security measure taken after 9/11 … in addition to seeking President Bush’s censure over the effort to penetrate al-Qaeda communications during wartime.

McCain filed as a friend of the court— Amici Curiae in the U.S. Supreme Court against Wisconsin Right to Life, against Wisconsin Right to Life. Despite McCain’s considerable efforts to surpress them, the court ruled in favor of Wisconsin Right to Life.
