Pray for Peace

I'm not about to take sides on the recent, tragic events in Gaza. But I do ask all Christians reading this to pray fervently for peace. Yes, I know that there will never be peace on earth until Jesus returns, however that doesn't excuse us from praying and working for peace. Jesus said "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God".
Pray esp. for Christians in Israel, both ex-patriots and Palestinian Christians--that they would model Jesus' example of loving one's enemies.
Please pray for my friends, Mark and Jen who are missionaries in Jordan(yes, I know it's far from Gaza, but it still must be scary with 3 little boys there) Also for my Jewish friend who has family there(her dad was born in Israel)
Most of all, pray that people whose hearts are set on violence and war would be captivated by the Prince of Peace and changed from within.

The Israelis have me so confused.
How can I bless them when they do such evil?
None of the rockets launched into Israel over a year killed anybody.
The Israelis killed 500+ people within a week.



I can't believe that God would approve of this.

Hamas is 100% wrong, no doubt about it,
but Israel bombing schools full of women and children refugees?

I'm going to have to claim ignorance on this one.
I don't want to speak against Israel and be wrong.

But, it won't be the first time that they (The Chosen Ones) were wrong and God punished them, so let's see what happens.
