Did you know this when you voted for and supported McCain?

And I think even The Church said that stem cell research is ok as long as children aren't either destroyed to do it or created to be destroyed to do it. The Church supported stem cell research that doesn't destroy life. As do I. I'm 101% against anything The Church is against.

Cepha,
I already addressed this in another thread. I you want to call McCain pro-death, then I guess that would make Obama pro-death, pro-infanticide, pro-abortion, anti-life to the max. So tell me again, why Obama is better than McCain? Not that it even matters, because McCain is done. Still the point remains that as "liberal" as McCain may have been on some of these life issues, he certainly would not have brought about the deaths that Obama is seeking through FOCA, which he considered one of his "highest priorities" upon assuming office.

With cepha its either black or white. Pro life or pro choice. I can see what your saying that obama is much more aggressive towards making abortions more regular and easier to happen. McCain i promiss would not have made that step.

McCain i promiss would not have made that step. Do you actually know of McCain's voting record? He's had 28 more years than Obama to eliminate abortion and he did nothing! And you are completely misrepresenting Obama's position on abortion! He literally said that he wants to do everything possible (including funding Faith Based Initiatives) to prevent abortions from having to be a "choice". Don't you know that all that birth control money in the bill was meant to bring down the numbers of abortion? I dont' know if he took that out, but think of how many children will "not" be conceived when birthcontrol is made easier to obtain? Now, I'm totally against birth control so don't take my statement as supporting it, but the results are factual. In countries where the birth rates were exploding and AIDS was rampant, simple condoms brought both rates wayyyy down. Would I suggest it be given out? No. But that's a spiritual issue for me, not a secular one.

"X" Wrong! McCain IS Pro-Death! He wanted to go to war with Iran and to continue to stay in Iraq for 100 years...he said it didn't matter to him! And I never head McCain once say what he'd do to lessen the need for abortion. All he said was that he wouldn't repeal Roe V Wade, but never mentioned once what he'd do to counter his decision to allow it to be the law of the land!

THIS IS UNEXCCEPTABLE!

Yes he was personally for it. Yet he agreed with the GOP platform that prohibited it. This was a better view then someone saying there were pro-life personally and that they would support the pro-choice platforn in the Democrat Party.
