These are just the ones i know of. We just got 11 Billion for our schools with another 40 Billion on the way. Don't worry CC, your money is on the way. It's said that by 6 months, the first real effect of the stimulous packages will be felt. I hope you guys can hold out until then. On the other hand, for the first time in years, the Unemployment Claim Request went way down this month and for two months straight, the economy actually grew. So, we're on our way. We just have to be patient.

Well, we certainly have the right President for... You'll see CC, everything's going to be alright. We have a President who's here for the "working man" now.

My husband work encourages no one to work OT. We live on OT. So, praise the Lord, he has some extra work on the side to make up for it.

I hear ya emily! My husband has been working 60 hour weeks and they had a meeting and are not going to lay anyone off, but cut the hours back, along with strickter enforcement of the rules, like no talking on cell while on the clock and such. Just happy he has job security!

Darn. I wish Bush did a better job with the economy. Then we wouldn't have all these problems now. But that's ok. We have another Democratic President to fix this Bush's recession the same way the prior Democratic President (Clinton) fixed his father's recession. Darn you Bushes! Darn you to heck! LOL! (From that article...) " With 663,000 jobs lost in March, U.S. unemployment hit 8.5 percent. We're up to 5.1 million layoffs since the recession began in December 2007..."

Blame it on bush...typical! But it's his fault. Ok if it's not his fault that we have a recession because of his occupation of Iraq and his giving wealthy Americans bigger tax breaks than the middle class or his giving big oil corporations tax breaks and kickbacks, then who's fault is it CC?

Well, the economy was doing great until 9/11, then we had to go to war which costed us and still is costing us billions. I believe that is when it started.
And what happened to obama pulling out of IRAQ? That is where alot of his votes came from. Now he is sending more troops over there and to afganistan.

No, the economy began to tank when Bush won the first election. Who told you it was doing great? And, we didn't have to go to war in Iraq. Only in Afghanistan and we took care of business there in 30 days. Everything else after that was unneccessary. Think about it, we destroy one of the world's top oil producers and take them offline. That causes oil prices to shoot up. Who benefitted from that? Halliburton and Big Oil Companies. Who worked for Halliburton? Cheney. Who worked in oil? Bush. Who benefitted? Bush & Cheney. And for what? For nothing. Iraq didn't attack us. And Osama Bin Ladin got away with attacking America because George Bush wasn't concerned with him. President Obama is pulling out of Iraq and The Iraqi President has said that he supports The President's plan. Don't you watch the news? Also, President Obama is doing exactly what he said he was going to do. He said that he was going to go and get Osama Bin Ladin (something Bush and the Republicans failed to do). He said this throughout his campaign that he was going to send more troops to Afghanistan. So now you're going to criticize him for not only going after the man who attacked us and got away with it, but for keeping his campaign promises? President Obama last year during the campaign... I ask you, which one sounds more like a real President of The United States? I'm not concerned with Osama. Or... We're going to go get him! ;D

I've been laid off now for 2 months. Well, usually, unemployment is the last sign of economic growth. What that means is that once unemployment claims start going down, the economy is well on it's way to recovery. I bet that you'll probably be back at work within a couple of months. Times might be hard now for all of us, but it's getting better. Since January, the economy has consistently grown in all facets. Their small measurements, but still, growth is growth and that cannot be denied. Some people expect The President to undo 8 years of poor economic policies in just 8 months. It's going to take him and us years to undo the mess we've all (both Republicans and Democrats) have been put in by the prior administration. But, if we work together like we did under President Reagan and under President Clinton, we'll pull through. (PS I just prayed that God would help you with work. )

NO, just like its not Obama's fault he inherited a bad economy. So it is safe to say that Clinton had to have something to do with the way the economy was when Bush took office.

You say that the economy began to tank when bush won the office. No, economists say that. I agree with them. No. He ruined it continually over his terms with his bad policies and made things worse by increasing spending (unjust war in Iraq) and by cutting income (tax cuts during war time). The difference is that Bush inherited a Trillion Dollar Surplus. President Obama inherited a Trillion Dollar Deficit. Bush squandered the surplus. He had 8 years (6 with full control of the Senate/Congress) to turn it around. Did he? Nope. He just made things worse. President Obama's economic policy is working so well that The Banks are already beginning to pay back the money he lent them! ;D Bush's recession didn't begin under Clinton, it began under Bush. Clinton left America with the greatest 8 years of economic prosperity in our nations history not to mention taking a budget deficit and recession that Bush's daddy left us with and turning it around into a budget surplus. It's ok now though...The Democrats have The White House again. We'll fix what they left broken! We always do! ;D

There is a particular job that I want badly but I haven't heard anything from the company I applied at. It's been over three weeks now, so I can't see that I got the job. If by chance you did mention Mary in your prayer and I did get the job I'd freak out.
