But for how long did he say? I don't know. He just said that before the economy was going to get better, it would get worse. And he is right. He also said we can't expect to undo in months what took years to do. And he's right there too. But who knows, he might be wrong on both counts which would be great for America if he was because that would mean that the recovery would come quicker! ;D

Well, usually, unemployment is the last sign of economic growth. What that means is that once unemployment claims start going down, the economy is well on it's way to recovery. I bet that you'll probably be back at work within a couple of months. Times might be hard now for all of us, but it's getting better. Since January, the economy has consistently grown in all facets. Their small measurements, but still, growth is growth and that cannot be denied. Some people expect The President to undo 8 years of poor economic policies in just 8 months. It's going to take him and us years to undo the mess we've all (both Republicans and Democrats) have been put in by the prior administration. But, if we work together like we did under President Reagan and under President Clinton, we'll pull through. (PS I just prayed that God would help you with work. ) I really appreciate your prayer just as long as you left Mary out of it. There is a particular job that I want badly but I haven't heard anything from the company I applied at. It's been over three weeks now, so I can't see that I got the job. If by chance you did mention Mary in your prayer and I did get the job I'd freak out. You're welcome. And while I didn't ask Mary to pray for you, I wouldn't be surprised if she did (it's "biblical" that those who approach her for assistance have been helped by her Son when she would take their problem to Him). Give the job a call and see what the situation is. Maybe your resume might be in a pile of a hundred, but if you call, they might dig it up to see who is this person that had the initiative to follow up. I, as an employer, love when people who apply to me actually follow up. (That's if, you already have done so. )
