This thread is for "general" everyday type conversations that seem to be hijacking the threads on the religious part of this Forum.
So, let's direct all general exchanges here to leave the specialized threads to themselves.
;D

Help!
What's an "everyday" conversation?
Ooh....
Hey, how's the weather?
How about those Red Sox!
Was that good?
I think I'm too weird to talk about normal stuff.

I heard they built a new stadium and ticket prices are now sky-high. Maybe they've always been sky-high, IDK, I don't go to baseball games

Ok, how about those Yankees! Ever since they got rid of the Hispanic players, they've gone downhill.

Okay, so we are using KJV or NKJV right? Then, I'm aloud to use the original KJV too okay? ( the original "authorized" KJV contained the "apocrypha"). Ahhh...intellect speaking! He doesn't want to discuss scripture or define terms so that the two participants in the debate can have a common ground of understanding. Watch out...don't ask too many questions. He gets frustrated easily, quits and takes his toys home when you actually challenge him on anything he believes. (Cepha sitting back and grabbing a tub of popcorn...)

Actually if truth be known cepha quit because he had nothing. Here is the "truth": A. You claim that you never wanted to have the debate (even though you of your own will entered the debate and accepted it's rules) . B. You refused to answer debate related questions because in your opinion, they were "meaningless". In a debate, it's not your option to judge which questions you can answer and which you can consider irrelevant. You must answer all topic related questions (unless you wanted to avoid be proven wrong in which case, loses the debate for you). C. When given the chance to respond to the challenges posed to you, you chose to ignore the questions and stated that the thread should be closed. D. You quit by ceasing the debate (once you refused to participate in the debate and stated that it was your wish that the debate be closed, you quit). Ezekiel33's final post on the thread:You wanted this debate not me.
There is no scriptural proof for purgatory, that is why you are rambling about with meaningless question, rather than proving your position, and it is also why you are now trying to find and easy exit.
Be my guess close the thread, we both knew you could not prove purgatory in the first place.
This whole thing has been a charade.

So wes and I watched "Fireproof"! Has anyone else seen it? It is so good for any couple or married couple to watch. Its about not leaving your partner behind. It makes you realise your own faults and that you need God in your lives to make things work. Such a must see!
