Does anyone else see why this is not a good idea? Burning The Bibles? Totally stupid. But importing Bibles into a Muslim Country at a time of war? That put our soldiers at risk. That was even dumber. Those are religious fanatics that don't care who dies so that they spread The Gospel. They need to learn how to respect other peoples' view and let God bring them to Him. That's my opinion. |

I'm totally for evangelism and distribution of Bibles in Afganistan and anywhere. Just not by soldiers during a war or occupation!
That just fuels the fires of Jihad even more, and then we wonder why they want to drop bombs on us.
This is one of the reasons Christian missionaries usually try at all costs to not let anyone know they are americans.

If you're not welcomed in a person's home, then knock the dust off of your sandals and move on. Jesus never said to force our faith upon anybody else.  |
