If you have a child do you think it is wrong to name her Delilah, Salome, Jezebel or some other name that we associate evil with in the Bible?

No, I don't think so. Although I never would just because some names have a bad reputation.

Why would anyone name their daughter Jezebel?

How about "Oompa loompa" for a child's name? hehe, I really love that word.
Whatever happened to naming kids something meaningful?

You're into meanings? I'm not, I just like names that sound nice.

Well, I like names that sound nice, but if say, I wanted to name my kid "oompa loompa" because it sounded nice, but then I found out it meant "crack head" no, I wouldn't name my kid that!
But, I did think long and hard about my daughters names. Names are really special to me.

Lol, I don't think any name means something that bad. The weirdest meaning of a name I like was Camryn/Cameryn meaning crooked nose, lol. And Holly which means shrub, lol. Yeah, I'm not into meanings much at all.

I've never met or heard of a Jesus? Many Jesus's (hey-zues), but no Jesu's (hey-zu) in Spanish speaking countries.

I have no idea. BUt I would guess a lot of names are derived from a lot of original names. I cannot believe how many names I google to find they are dirived from Mirium....but that doesn't make them Mirium.
