Saw this on another forum, if it is true...it's both funny and kind of humiliating at the same time.

So, what this is saying is that Obama does not agree with the protesters?

My impression was it's Obama's way of saying he doesn't agree with killing the protestors.

Well, thats a good thing. The protesters are protesting for a reason...they think the votes were rigged, and want the other guy to be there leader.

You don't know how these things work. No one is going to go in there and tell the Gov. in Iran to stop shooting the protesters. This is a counter-revolution for crying out loud. The Gov. there is psycho and the people know it. When they start shooting their own people (which is obviously an outrage) it is just going to get people even more upset and hopefully bring this thing to a complete overthrow of the nasty demonic Gov. that's been oppressing these people since 1979. Obama isn't trying to enforce "human rights" over these Nazi's right now, he is just sitting back and waiting for the people of Iran to get these guys out of there themselves.

I would think they would stop the killing. If I were disinvited to a celebration of the Indepence of the United States, and I was a USA loving country like Iran, I would think twice. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei probably loves fireworks.

Remember what happened the last time a President contributed to the uprising of a Muslim country?
George Bush Sr. told The Kurds to rise up against Hussein. He told them we'd help them. They rose up against Saddam. Then, Bush told them we can't interfere leaving those poor Kurds to fend for themselves against Saddam. This is why Muslims hate America today. Arabs hated Saddam. He's Persian.
But we are worse to them than Saddam because we were dishonorable by promising to help the Kurds, inciting them to rebel against Saddam and leaving them to be gassed by him without us doing nothing (150,000 people died because of George Bush's lie that we'd support their rebellian).
President Obama is far smarter than George Bush was.
He's not going to interfere with what's going on over there until he knows for sure "what's what".
Cowboy diplomacy got us nowhere but hated by the world.
Intelligent diplomacy is what's needed now.
And guess what...he did the right thing.
No one can say we "meddled" with Iran's Pres race. Their current leader can, but now he looks like the total lier that he is. And our Pres looks like what a true American Prez should look like...wise.
Well done Mr. President!

Human life, party, human life, party, human life, party....hmmmmm Weird because you don't understand it. What else can he do? He just put Iran back in the corner with a Dunce cap on. He's going to kill all efforts at diplomacy with them as is the rest of The World. Guess what ya'll...America is ONCE AGAIN taking the lead roll in the world! We are getting our leadership position back! He did the right thing! Imagine if he had allowed them to come to a "Freedom" celebration? The Right Wing Extremists would've been howling. And now their howling because he's not? That's why their called "extremists"...no matter what he does, they'll criticize it. That's why The Republican Party's approval numbers are now dwindling at 22% and why they lost so many members to The Independant Party. Keep it up! We'll wipe Republicans off the face of the earth soon enough and it'll be just The Dems and the Indi's! ;D

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei probably loves fireworks. That's the thing. Iranians love Americans and our lifestyle. It's our previous government and their current government that had the issues. But, their time is coming to an end. No Iranian leader will be able to say that President Barack HUSSEIN Obama is anti-Muslim. They won't be able to drum up that rhetoric anymore. Their extremists are just as wacky as our extremists. We should put them on an island and let them "work it out" with boxing gloves while the rest of the civilized world gets on with working together without having to sacrifice who we are as individiual countries.

Obama won't denounce the Iranian government but he doesn't have a problem meddling in Hondorus or snuggling up with a dicatator like Hugo Chavez of Venezuala.

Obama won't denounce the Iranian government but he doesn't have a problem meddling in Hondorus or snuggling up with a dicatator like Hugo Chavez of Venezuala. A. We can't go against a government we helped put into place in Iran (Google Iran/Contra Affair). B. Obama has been criticized for being too silent on Honduras, so I don't know where you get your news from...oh yeah, "Fixed" News! LOL C. You do know that Venezuela is one of our oil suppliers and when American families where freezing to death, Hugo Chavez sent "at cost" oil to help American families while Big American Oil Companies were raking in record breaking profits, right?

I know that EXXON pays very well and takes good care of their employees. All the refinerees pay well.

I know that EXXON pays very well and takes good care of their employees. All the refinerees pay well. They should pay well...with all the government tax breaks they received from the last administration (which President Obama is going to cut! yeah!) and with all the profits from record breaking prices. But...have they given back to the American People in their time of need? How much free oil have they provided to help the poor?

They might not have provided oil. But im sure they have provided to charities.

They might not have provided oil. But im sure they have provided to charities. Perhaps, but Chavez gave oil for free directly to needy American Families. I never heard of big American oil companies doing that.
