What are you judged for in the book of Revelation? Judgment always deal with one's works; whether one's works are for evil or good. In IC.XC, Ramon I've heard some non-Cath's say that the judgement was to decide how many "crowns" you'd get (even though it doesn't say that in The Bible). Yet, when this judgement is passed in Revelation, Jesus is clearly unhappy with some of the Churches and I can't see them getting any crowns for their misbehaviour or lack of faith. So, I never really understood how they tied the "crowns" to "judgement" thing. I'd have to call this one an unbiblical belief.

We are judged according to our works, but it is important to note that our good works are but God's gifts.
Speaking of being crowned this quote of Augustine mentions us being "crowned" at the judgement and highlights my notion of our works as his gifts.
"on God call thou, thine own are sins, merits are God’s. Punishment to thee is owing, and when reward shall have come, His own gifts He will crown, not thy merits." -Augustine, Narrations on the Psalms, 71:18 sec 22
