Where do I begin! Because of what she did for Jesus! Because of what she's done for me. Because she loves me. Because Jesus loved her. Because she was loyal to Jesus. Because she is the epitomy of Christian devotion and obedience. Because she said "Let it be done unto me according to Your will." www.dailyencouragement.net/images/temporary/mary_&_gabriel.jpgAn alternate question...why "don't" you love Mary?

God could have chosen a number of women besides Mary to be the mother of Jesus. No. It had to be Mary because she met the requirments (descended of David, daughter of Priest, consecrated Temple Virgin, pure, etc...). God had to start with perfection to bring perfection into the world. Mary was the only one who was formed perfect in her mother's womb by God.

God chose Mary from the very beginning. He knows the future. He knew he was going to choose her. If Jesus is eternally begotten, then Mary was eternally chosen to be His mother.
