He heard confessions. He absolved people of their sins. He loved Mary His mother. He took communion. He was universal. He didn't belong to any denomination of Christianity. He was literally a Priest. He defended sacramentals (altar, sacrifices, sacramentals, etc...). He talked to the dead. He didn't use the Pharisees Old Testament Canon. He believed in religious tradition. He went to Church.

John 2:3-29 3 We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. 4 The man who says, "I know him," but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But if anyone obeys his word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: 6 Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did.
We are supposed to walk as Jesus did, so of course we are supposed to love Mary.

I have one even better... John 13:34-35 "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
"By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."How did Jesus love His mother? "As" a mother. So if we obey Jesus Christ and follow Him, we are to love His mother as Jesus loved her...as "our" mother! Picture titled..."Kissing The Face of God"

And then there are some who do not believe Mary was His real Mother, but simply a surrogate mother (Jesus didn't get his Flesh from Mary, the Theotokos....she was just a "holding cell" for Jesus)..........Now, doesn't that sound a lot like what one of the Early Gnostic sect taught, mention by Saint Irenaeus in his Against Heresies?
