Hi Sis------------
Noah believed God,his is a picture of salvation through faith.Having never seen rain he built the ark.this is water baptism we receive when we realize that we cannot save ourselves and turn to Christ
Israel was led by God out of Egypt which is sin. This is the baptism of fire which Christ came to give. This is what creates a new vessel a new creature this is the blinding light on the road to Damascus where our old man starts to die
The crossing of Jordan is when we have received the chastening that makes us true sons---we have passed through the wilderness of disobedience our stiff necked generation is gone and like Joshua and Caleb we are ready to face the Giants in the land and the power of the Holy Spirit is with us
And finally we have Christ's Baptism this is when we receive the true circumcision and surrender all to Father's will Matt 20:23 (a) And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with:
Some will go through these very quickly and some will never make it out of the wilderness

Out of 3000 people all you saw was one lady CC? lol Hey is ok....I don't believe in freewill so unless you are "led" to this baptism, you won't enter in. Same as we cannot "see" the kingdom until our eyes are washed with His clarity.
I need to withdraw from all boards. Sad to leave you guys but will pray for you all and think of you all often.
Just takes up too much of my time and I need to be devoted now to prayer and study.
God bless all of you!

jacee He didn't tell them this until after pentecost. He preached the kingdom of Christ to the disciples before the cross, and after resurrection....the kingdom of God. Big difference here Actually, no. Jesus commissioned them "before" the day of Pentacost. Matthew 28: 19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Alex Jones is a former anti-Catholic who in his deepest desire to emulate The Church established by Jesus Christ, found himself unable to deny that it was still here today. So, he converted to Catholicism (universal Christianity) from Denominational Chrisianity. Since he was already baptized as a Christian, he didn't have to be re-baptized. He's working on becomming a Catholic Priest. And yes, he will be able to keep his wife and chldren. Not only did he join, but he presented the case for universal Christianty to his congregation. The anti-Catholics (those who cling to Denominational Christianity and who refuse to join the universal Christian Church) refused to listen to him and left (he lost something like 2/3's of his flock). The rest, converted to universal Christianity along with him and were received into The Church in full communion. The point is that he set out to find Jesus' Church. He followed The Bible letter for letter and found himself wearing Priestly Robes and serving communion (as practiced by Jesus, The Apostles and Catholic Christians). When he saw that by following The Bible alone he was being led into The Catholic Church, he gave into The Word of God and allowed The Holy Spirit to lead him into Jesus' Church.

Cepha------------------
Todd Bentley said this-----This is the year that you will see God changing leadership, opening up a way; you will see great division coming into the Catholic church. But you are going to see a remnant rising up and saying, “We want the Spirit of God to come and visit us in a new way.” Miracles will start hitting the Catholic people in a way that hasn’t happened before.
no " the Pope is the boogey man "stuff just the above "prophesy " .

In fact, these miracles are often attacked as signs of demonic trickery. For us, we can't win either way. We're either too spiritual or not spiritual enough. God changed The Leadership a couple of years ago already with The New Pope when He took Pope John Paul II home. With all due resepect, Mr. Bentley isn't prophesizing. He's talking about ancient history, recent history and an ongoing history of miracles. Personally, I wouldn't trust a man who adorns himself with gold and jewelry and pierces his flesh (which God disapproves of). I believe Leviticus states this is unpleasing to God. And like I said, what he claims to be professing as what is to come, has always been going on...for thousands of years. Only when Catholics talk about it, it's demonic and lies. But if a non-Catholic Chrisitian talks about it, it's prophesy. Double standard. Have you heard of the miracles in Egypt where The Virgin Mary appeared to 150,000 Muslims and they converted to Christianity and became born again? Probably not. Have you heard of Padre Pio? Probaby not. You won't hear about Universal Christian miracles my friend because we live in a predominately Protestant country and we are the minority here. America only has about 8%of the world's total population of Catholics and only 1/3 of American Catholics are devout practicing Catholics. If one really wants to know the universal Christian Church, they must start at Vatican City and follow the trails out of it. God bless. Pax

Cepha
You're just shadow boxing here....none of us protestants are here to put catholics down. Not sure how many are here but I know knuckles heart, and he is not anti anything. Just loves.
I am trying ....lol
If you would watch Todd Bentley you would see love there too. But, he really isn't the point. The point is that Jesus is doing something in the overall body of Christ which goes beyond denominational walls....including the church of Rome. Is that a correct statement? Is it the church of Rome? Anyway, it goes beyond the walls of your church...and His children are falling in love with Him...not a man...Jesus.

I believe I have a great relationship with Knucks. Why mention him? He and I have had great exchanges and he's the last person I'd accuse of coming here to put Catholics down or of even being an anti-Catholic.
I wouldn't watch anybody who outrightly does something that God teaches us we shouldn't do:
Body Piercing and Tattooing Now, let's apply these four principles to determine whether God authorizes us to pierce and tattoo our bodies.
Discrete Body Piercings: Discrete body piercing, such as tasteful female ear piercing, is considered in society to be a godly adornment. The piercing itself is not associated with evil. As long as the earrings do not represent or communicate something sinful, pierced ears, and discrete nose piercings in some cultures, profess godliness and do not bring reproach upon God. Therefore, tastefully pierced ears are authorized in God's word. Wanton Body Piercings: On the other hand, a broad section of society believes that body piercings (other than discrete ear and nose piercings) reflects a licentious and riotous lifestyle. These piercings were popularized in the later part of the 20th century by people in pop culture known for sinful lifestyles. Because of the sinful connotations associated with these piercings, this behavior is questionable at best (Rom. 14:23; 1 Th. 5:21-22).
Therefore, God's children should abstain from these piercings since: -They do not glorify God (1 Cor. 6:19-20). -They do not exalt Christ (Phil. 1:20). -They do not profess godliness (1 Tim. 2:2, 10; 4:7-8; 6:11). -They are not honorable and respectable in the sight of men (Rom. 12:17; Phil. 4:8). -Many are licentious, symbolic of a riotous lifestyle (2 Cor. 12:20-21).

Cepha are charismatic Catholics doing anything wrong then when they are baptised into the Holy Spirit then? I don't have an opinon on them. I don't know that God "isn't" working with them in a different manner so I can't say.
