If it was just me, then you might have a case, but there are other hardcore Cath Apologists that have expereinced what I experienced.
Again, it's ok to Mod me if I'm wrong, but to privately insult and mock me is wrong, then to ban me for talking back, that's indefensable.
I'm sure you like this no holds barred system of yours here, but if I recall, I saw your posts and you were indeed heavy on the rhetoric and light on the facts as well as just plain old rude and offensive to some folks.
Of course I was...to those who were rude and offensive to me. What you may have missed was the threads started up just on my getting banned where they were questioning the Mods as to why I got banned and the Mods lied and said that I was not going to post anymore (I didn't quit).
But then, I got so many private emails (to my off board private email address) from Caths and nonCaths, that I reconsidered. When I came back to thank everybody who wrote me and who stood up for me, I was locked out of my account, yet my profile didn't reflect that I was banned. In fact, if you go see it now, it will reflect that I am still an active member on my profile.
Doesn't matter how you try to slice it, you are basing your statements on conjecture (it had to be, yada, yada, yada).
They are worse than the non-Catholics in that they are representing Catholicism and are complete hypocrites. I can expect that from someone that is against me, but not from someone who is supposed to defend my right to defend myself against them.
And you fail to mention their rudeness and their offensiveness and the judgement the passed unto me calling me names in the PM's I was sent by the Mod/Admins over there.
Why? Because I corrected their moderatioin of me and I posted the posts that I had copied and set aside on my computer before the person that I was responding to erased their post where they literally cursed at me and at our Church and insulted me personally.
They actually came to the defense of the person who violated the forums rules and apologized to them and banned me.
And you think their right?
Then that makes you wrong too. How could the ones who violated the forums rules, cursed at and insulted The Catholic Faith and called our Pope a ton of sexually-related insults be right and I be wrong for defending us?
If you want to place the Mods over there above the truth and above hypocrasy, so be it.
Not only did the Cath's agree with me, but the Prots and Muslims agreed with me.
Frankly, I don't care what a person says, I know that the facts are on my side and I don't have to stoop to their level in response.

I completely disagree with you about CAF. They work real hard to keep a balanced and charitable playing field there and I have the greatest respect for Karl Keating and the staff he has there.
Except the part where they begged an anti-Catholic to stay after that anti-Catholic used the "F" word several times to describe our Priesthood and Mary.
I wouldn't dare tie the Mods at CAF to Karl Keating. The staff are the ego maniacs.
Remember, that's why they banned me...because I posted their words to me that totally violated the forum's rules. I literally posted their insults and their mockery of me.
Don't be so quick to blindly follow someone just because they sit on the cyber chair of Moses...they are hypocrites. I can't even repost what they said to me here because I don't use that language.
You know me from over there and I am anything but a slouch at apologetics but I also go WAY outta my way to be as charitable and respectful as possible while at the same time decimating the arguments of those who oppose our most holy faith.

I didn't run anybody off...I just posted their curses at me and listed the forum rules (just like I did with CAF's Mods insults and mockery).
If you can't stand the heat...you know.
The forum is supposed to be a place for open debate free of censorship (except for vulgar language and obvious examples).
CAF cares more about their image than the truth.

Just because some of the n-c forums are wretched does not mean that we should stoop to that level and create similar ones. That's literally two wrongs not making a right of any kind.

Again, if it were just me, then you'd have a valid argument, but I have at least 1/2 a dozen complaints from current CAF members who have also experienced what I experienced there and those amateur Apologist put my and your defenses to shame at how great they are.
I won't mention their names, but they are some of the most awesome amateur Apologists I've ever seen. And they seem to agree with me. And I definately agree with all of them.
We don't judge each other. We support each other. We even talk against those in positions of authority who are hypocrites in Catholicisms name like Jesus did to The Pharisees who were hypocrites in Judaism's name.
