I think we should all spend our time studying for law school or something. There's gotta be a way to earn a living off of the obsessive need to debate! lol... ;D

Yeah, with everyone here, we could start our own law firm. Somehow between all of us, we would find every loop hole, every angle, every possible detail that we would need for our cases. That is if we didn't kill each other in the process.

My cousin is a lawyer--you gotta watch out for Lawyers. He's the one that sent me a book about the Catholic Church that made me convert! Oy veh
Actually, I have a crazy story about Him. Or really his wife. Don't worry, I forgave them, but about oh 9 years ago, I got an invitation in the mail that was for His wedding. Well that was great news. The problem was that He was marrying a girl named Heather (my name). What's wrong with that? Well, being a paternal cousin and all, he had my same last name. So, she would soon have my exact name. And the same middle initial. Still not that awful, but then I read the date of the wedding--Oct. 14. Who gets married on Oct. 14. Nobody but them. But that just happens to be my birthday! And now, I don't even have my old name because I changed it when I got married.
So she stole my name on my birthday!
But she's a sweetie, I really love them.

Some of cepha other greatest hits.... #1God can lie. #2 God's word is meaningless, because He might say one thing in scripture, but He could just decide to change His mind. #3 There is salvation outside of faith in Christ. #4 ''Reborn'' full fledge democrate. #5 God had no idea Adam was going to sin. #6 We are under the levitical Law unless we are specifically told differently in the New Testament. #7 Foreknowledge = Predestination. #8 There is no Millennium. #9 Lot not Abraham bargained with God over Sodom. #10 Anyone married to a Christian is automatically saved through the spouses relationship with Christ. I could go on and on but I will leave it at that for now, but this is a good top 10 list....lol. ;D That was Brilliant Watchman... just Brilliant ;D

Oh stereotypes, how they accomplish nothing.
My cousin happens to be very honest.
And don't Christians want "conservative" Supreme Court Justices? Where do you think they get them, from Wal-Mart? No, they start out as lawyers, then judges.
Why not just throw in the towel and hand the country over to the atheists? Come on!

Rev. Katherine Ragsdale, president of Episcopal Divinity School, referring to George Tiller the murdering abortionist - “ This is about the loss of a man who was a saint and a martyr,” That's pretty crazy. Agreed.

Some of cepha other greatest hits.... #1God can lie. Yes, God can do anything He wants to. #2 God's word is meaningless, because He might say one thing in scripture, but He could just decide to change His mind. Lie. I never said this. Notice, there is no quote or link to any page on this site that states I said this.
As opposed to me and how when I accuse someone of saying something, I not only quote them, but post the actual page it was on so that no allegations of editing can be made.
#3 There is salvation outside of faith in Christ. Romans 2 #4 ''Reborn'' full fledge democrate. Amen to that! #5 God had no idea Adam was going to sin. Still waiting for a scripture to prove that that's "not" true. God gave man free will. If He knew man was going to sin, then that places God at fault for removing man from His perfecting grace where man could've been protected from his own self.
That's like letting a baby crawl out into a busy highway when you know he's going to get hit by a car.
Plus, I don't ascribe to Calvinist views of Predistination. #6 We are under the levitical Law unless we are specifically told differently in the New Testament. I never said that. I said that The Law was "not" done away with, not that Gentiles under that law. #7 Foreknowledge = Predestination. Never said that either (again, notice no quote or link to any page on this site.#8 There is no Millennium. How could I say that when I don't even know when/what the Millenium is?
LOL!#9 Lot not Abraham bargained with God over Sodom. Ahhh, but anyone who reads my actual posts will not how I corrected myself after reading my post and edited my post to say "Abraham" BEFORE you wrote this.
This can easily be proven by the Date/Time "under" the post that states when the edit took place. #10 Anyone married to a Christian is automatically saved through the spouses relationship with Christ. Never said that either. Not one quote will be found with me stating this or even implying this because it simply is not true and a complete misrepresentation of what I "actually" stated.
I never said that anyone was "automatically" saved.
Never.
In fact, I gave a detailed explaination as to what I believed to Ramon explaining the same "conditions" of salvation that apply to the unbeliever. I could go on and on but I will leave it at that for now, but this is a good top 10 list....lol. Actually, I'll bet you can't "go on and on..."!

Don't allow yourself to be misled Em. You'll note there are no quotes, no links, nothing to prove any of this. This is him just "saying" what I said. If you look at what I posted on him, I've actually "quoted" his own words and in some cases, literally linked the page so that it could be seen that I wasn't making it up. He's just angry because I posted his own words that contradicted what he was "trying" to deny.

Think about it...why didn't he use any of my quotes to prove this? If I has actually all of those things, there'd be quotes, right? How many quotes did he include? Zero. So, what does that tell you? ;D

OK. a purchase is different from a barter though. Jesus bore the penalty of our sins, and we get to have His life in us. Thank goodness Semantics T. One must trade their faith for salvation. Period. There's no getting around this for those who believe that you MUST believe in order to be saved. Without belief, there is no salvation (according to them). Jesus said it himself, one must commit the ritual of baptism in order to go to heaven. That is a work one must do. Nothing is free. That's why Jesus uses parables of "workmen" so much.
