Under who did Abortions come down? A Democrat. Under who did Abortions go up? A Republican. The facts speak for themselves...I used to be a Republican until their hypocrasy just made me sick. They are the party of The Rich, The friends of Saudi Arabia, Big Oil and War Contractors. Under them, we've been screwed to death. The record speaks for itself. I am not for gay anything...that's their business between them and God. Not my place to judge, to restrict or to impose. You need to remember Matthew 7 and remember it well because one day, you're going to be judged based on how you judge others. Just take a look at those sites I listed and then preach to me about your ant-gay Republicans. yeah, say this is all true, that still doesn't mean their pro-choice and none of them would ever be nominated for a seat on the Supreme Court. While as a democrat might look for these qualities while choosing a possible justice. =P

Well, I agree with you on a couple of things...Republicans are being "bent and infiltrated" for sure!  But, with all of the corruption in the party and in those church members who support them, I wouldn't call them the last bastion. Remember Pastor Haggard? And this was Bush's advisor.  |

If you're talking about dogma, then he is only teaching (or supposed to be teaching) whatever The Church tells him to teach. I was referring to how he was talking about Hillary and his treatment of her in such a publically humiliating manner. That type of talking and especially that type of behaviour (the grandstanding, the yelling, etc...) would never be allowed in a Catholic Church. The Mass is comprised of reading of The Gospel and of discussion of The Gospel. When current events are discussed, they are discussed in relation to how God would want us to act and be and it is never the center of the Sunday message.  |
