Whoa!
So! It turns out that John McCain actually lied about where he was during Obama's interview with Rick Warren!
He was in a car during the interview, NOT in a soundproof room!
So, it seems that McCain DID have the ability to listen to the questions asked by Pastor Warren BEFORE he was asked those questions giving him an unfair advantage over Obama!
The next few days will certainly be interesting.
Everybody is on the News Programs is saying that McCain seemed prepped for the questions!
Wow!
Is it beyond McCain's behavior to cheat?
Ask his two wives that he actually cheated on.
Oh who cares, they both lie. It's in the job description. I saw obama lie to mccain about issuing a statement condenming his fellow whack job politician about saying McCain will bring back the racist days of the south. He never did. My question is why do you have a teen age girlish crush on Obama? Kinda like it's the early 60's and he's a member of the beetles. I'm cross country and I can hear your girlish screams from here!

Obama is more in line with The Catholic Church than McCain who is friends with anti-Catholics...Catholic Voters: Why Barack Obama’s Program Is More in Line With Church Teachings Than John McCain’sFriday, 10 October 2008 There are an estimated 64 million people in the United States who were raised in the Roman Catholic Church. More than 12 million non-Hispanic Catholics attend Mass at least once a week. The Catholic vote is huge. Pope Benedict XVIThe voices of Catholic voters have the power to control the outcome of national elections. In eight of the past nine presidential elections, the winner of the Catholic vote won the White House. Millions of Catholic Americans — and many evangelical Protestants as well — have a litmus test which a presidential candidate must pass before that candidate can win their votes. First and foremost in these voters’ minds is the candidate’s view on abortion. For millions of Catholic voters the most important political goal over the last 30 years has been to assemble enough votes on the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade. Barack Obama does not pass this litmus test. And, for now, John McCain does. The question is, How can Barack Obama still marshal a case that convinces Catholic voters to support his candidacy? This issue is of critical importance in the state of Pennsylvania, where nearly one third of all voters are Catholic. In Ohio, more than 20 percent of the electorate is Catholic. In Michigan, 23 percent of all voters are Catholics. Obama has one big strength with Catholic voters. This is that his views embody the church’s central teachings on peace and social justice. John McCain’s militaristic approach to foreign policy is in total opposition to church teachings. Like Obama, the Catholic Church is dedicated to peace and nonviolent solutions to the world’s problems. Both Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI have spoken out against the war in Iraq. Obama’s views on alleviating poverty closely align with church teachings on helping the poor. The church is deeply concerned about dealing with human suffering in this country and around the world. Recently, Pope Benedict XVI offered his advice to world leaders gathered at the United Nations General Assembly: “I would like to invite them again to take up and implement with courage the measures needed to wipe out extreme poverty, hunger, ignorance and the scourge of pandemics, which especially affect the most vulnerable.” This platform closely mirrors Obama’s message of hope and change for those who are in distress or have been held back. Obama’s strong dedication to family values are in line with those of the church. In contrast, John McCain’s history of adultery, his hot temper, and abusive and foul language are not behavior that is condoned by the Catholic Church. In appealing to Catholic voters Obama needs to show that his message of change, equality, and social justice mirrors those values held by the church. Undoubtedly, when appealing to Catholic voters the issue of abortion cannot be ignored. Obama must concede the obvious that, yes, many Catholics disagree with him on the abortion issue. But Obama can diffuse this position by pointing out the political realities of the abortion issue in America today. The argument goes as follows: If John McCain is elected and adds one or two justices to the Supreme Court, Roe v. Wade will probably be overturned. But this would do very little to end or even limit abortion in the United States. The Roe v. Wade case afforded women a federal constitutional right to choose abortion. States, therefore, could not prohibit it. If Roe v. Wade is overturned, then 50 separate battles would be waged in state legislatures across the nation on the abortion issue. Utah, Idaho, and a handful of other states might indeed ban all abortion procedures but in the vast majority of states, abortion would remain legal. Therefore, for Catholics concerned about social justice, it may not be prudent to have a litmus test on abortion for presidential candidates. It is far more important to examine a candidate’s entire agenda to see which of the candidates more embodies the church’s teachings on aid for the poor, empathy for one’s fellow man, war and peace, equality, banning torture, and supporting social justice. Obama can make the case to Catholics that he comes out ahead of McCain on all these issues. Joe Biden, a practicing Roman Catholic, is an important messenger to Catholics for the Democratic ticket. www.obamaelectionwatch.com/2008/10/catholic-voters-why-barack-obamas-program-is-more-in-line-with-church-teachings-than-john-mccains/

Actually, he did; embeds.blogs.foxnews.com/2008/10/11/obama-camp-condems-wallace-reference-but-says-lewis-right-on-mcpalin-rhetoric/That's the typical attack on anyone who supports Obama. For all the bashing McCain has done to Obama for being so popular, he was bragging the other day how Sarah Palin managed to scrounge up 20,000 at one rally. And over 17 million tuned into SNL to watch her make a fool of herself. And nobody on the Obama campaign is insulting Palin supporters or making commercials about her being a "celebrity".

A giant heeping load of pooh with a marshmellow in it that you're trying to make me eat. Well I will not eat that cow pooh mister. That wasn't very nice at all. And by the way...we already live in a socialistic country...it's called The Progressive Tax and Medicaid. If you don't want socialism, then start with those two programs and you might as well hit The Republicans' Faith Based Initiative also. ;D

Question... Do you think more people are going to be put on Medicaid and welfare(foodstamps) if Obama is president?
Which would mean that all the hard workers in America are going to have to pay more taxes to cover these people, and most are just babymaking lazy people. I have met a few.

I guess you only like for hard working Americans to pay for "Corporate Welfare" and not "social Welfare", huh? It's ok for us to continually give tax breaks and subsidies to record breaking earning multi-billion dollar corporations, but it's not ok for us to cloth and feed our neighbors? Question: If Jesus were here, who would He tell you to share your bread with? The wealthy who are raping us financially? Or the poor? WWJD?

I just know that most of the programs that Republicans are whining about today were put in place "by" Republicans. Besides, Jesus was a Socialist as were the Apostles (you know, the whole "communal living & sharing thing, the whole spread your wealth with the less fortunate thing, etc...). ;D

Listen there is a difference between helping the POOR that NEED IT AND DONT ABUSE IT, but alot of our people on welfare are just lazy and drive expensive cars while selling drugs on the side. If anything, there needs to be a tougher welfare program that deeply investigates each case. Catholics are for helping the "good" poor people.
My family adopts a poor family every christmas, but we pick one that is worthy of it, not lazy drug dealers and we dont pick families on nationality. We live in a city that has a lil of everyone.

How do you know this? I've shown you where most of them are middle class suburban housewives. What's you're definition of "a lot" and how do you come to your numbers? Yes we are...and we aren't for speaking ill of those who are on welfare or for generalizing persons on welfare as drug dealing expensive car drivers. Really now...welfare only gives one a few hundred dollars a month. If they were really selling drugs, they wouldn't need welfare. Remember also that the majority of drug users are middle class suburbanites. Without the users, there'd be no dealers. Wow...that's really revealing of you. Nobody ever mentioned "race" or "nationality" throughout this discussion to warrant such a defense of you're "not" using those things to help others. And...I seriously doubt that "lazy drug dealers" need your help. ;D

Yes and No he would like the "concept" of many of the social programs but not the implementation of them. I don't think Jesus would be overly fond of the anti-religion attitude of many socialists. He would also hate many of the social programs that socialism is bound to bring. Still you're trying!

Well, cepha, you tell me how these people around PORT ARTHUR TX are cruising around in SUV'S without a job. Selling drugs duh. Also, how do i know that there are women on welfare, cause ive sat in line with them. Yes, i had to put my child on medicade, because my husband was working not making enough money while i was going to school full time. I would call that helping out the good people. But you cannot deny that there are plenty of people on welfare recieving foodstamps, lying on their applications, having more kids just so they dont have to work. I have met a few like i said!

He would also hate many of the social programs that socialism is bound to bring. Still you're trying! Why wouldn't Jesus like the implementation of them? And, no one said that Jesus would agree with those programs that are clearly anti-Christian obviously, but what we're talking here about is the sharing of the communal wealth (which you and the other far right extremists seem to be against). Let's stay focused here and not dance off in another direction. Fact: Jesus believed in Communal Distribution of Wealth (it's exactly what The Aposltes, The Church did in the Book of Acts). Let the better to do feed and clothes and house the less fortunate, right? That is a socialist view. That's what Senator Obama wants to do. McCain doesn't want to "share the wealth". McCain wants to only give MORE tax breaks to the wealthy (big corporations and business owners). Do you know who's pockets those tax breaks are going to come out of? The working man's pockets. Why? Because all that money that the big corporations and businesses "don't" contribute back to the society that made it possible for them to become wealthy will have to be made up for somehow. How does McCain want to make up for this "redistribution of wealth" to the wealthy? By cutting "social" programs (like healthcare, Medicaid, childcare, etc...). That is not what Jesus would do. Matter of fact, that is what Satan would do. Rob from the poor and give unto the wealthy. Reverse RobinHoodism. I'd like to really have a serious discussion on this. Let's get down to brass tacks on this.

"People are coming together around a simple truth - that we are all connected, that I am my brother's keeper; I am my sister's keeper. And that it's not enough to just believe this - we have to do our part to make it a reality."

Well, cepha, you tell me how these people around PORT ARTHUR TX are cruising around in SUV'S without a job. Selling drugs duh. Sorry to drop this bomb on you, but the world isn't "Port Arthur, Tx". I know many people who cruise around in nice SUV's (I did...Excursion Limited!). Some got them from inheritences, some from retirement. Nonetheless, you shouldn't jump to conclusions that every person you see in TX with a nice SUV without a job is a drug dealer. Oh! So you do believe in Senator Obama's programs that he wants to expand and that McCain wants to cut out when YOU needed the help, right? Sweetie, I am still waiting for one thing from you...a reference. How many people is "plenty"? The majority? The middle class suburban women? Or the minority? And if it's the minority of people on welfare that are abusing it, then why focus on them and not on the minority for whom the program is benefitting as planned? How many is "plenty"?
