If "faith alone" saves, why is Satan "not" saved then?
He certainly believes "in" Jesus.
Right?

Right? Oh! Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez! A better question is... why don't Catholics believe in faith alone instead of adding a bunch of meaningless works (sacraments and penence) which can never save them or change them People are hopelessly sinful. Our inate nature is sinful and can never be completely changed. We are what we are. A man steals because he is a thief at heart and a liar lies because he is a liar at heart.

Satan knows there is a God, that doesn't mean he surrenders his life to Him. There is a difference between head knowledge and heart surrender.

Oh! Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez! A better question is... That's changing the topic. Why don't you answer the question as stated? You're perfectly welcomed to start a complete new thread with your own question...you don't have to "not" post your own thread. BUT! Since you want to ask! LOL! Because we believe in The Bible: James 2:24 "You observe that a person is justified through actions and not through faith alone." Couldn't the question be why don't you believe The Bible when it says that faith without works is dead? Jesus did that in The Bible when he healed a lepor and told him to go do what The Priest commanded him to do (rituals, sacraments and penance): Luke 513And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him. 14And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them. And what sacrament was it that Moses prescribed? The sacrament of penance and ritual cleansing and prayer for that man's atonement (and only a Priest could do this as instructed by Jesus Christ): Leviticus 13: 49And if the plague be greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a plague of leprosy, and shall be shewed unto the priest: Leviticus 14: 2This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought unto the priest: 3And the priest shall go forth out of the camp; and the priest shall look, and, behold, if the plague of leprosy be healed in the leper; 4Then shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two birds alive and clean, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop: 5And the priest shall command that one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel over running water: 6As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water: 7And he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the open field. Allow me to introduce you to Saint Paul. You should read his works and his testimony. He used to murder Catholics, but then he was converted at heart by Jesus and stoppled killing universal Christians (Catholics). Now, he is the source of most Christian theology.

Acceptance seems like it would becoming Saved. You have to accept Christ to be Saved, then the faith comes in.

I know there are people who think they are Catholic just cause they were baptised Catholic, but if they are not good practicing Catholics then they are not. Just the same as a Baptist, you can claim to be Baptist, but commit adultry and lie and all kinds of crazy stuff (aka my MIL), and be hell-bound!

What is a good practicing Catholic? Someone who goes to mass all the time? Takes communion? Tithes? What if they just do the motions yet never, ever give their lives to Jesus?

Acceptance seems like it would becoming Saved. You have to accept Christ to be Saved, then the faith comes in. But people had to have "faith" first, right? Remember the Samaritan woman? She didn't accept Jesus, but had faith in His words, then she accepted Him. Remember?

Have you never known anyone in your church or another Christian church that went to church weekly and paid their tithes and who participated in many church events, but who lived sinful lives (gamblers, drinkers, thieves, adulterers, etc...)?

HELLO MY MIL! She cheats on her husband, mentally abuses her daughter, and lies like no bodies business! She is southern baptist too. She volenteers at the church as well as attends on sundays!

I don't understand the 21 questions. I havent' known anyone that did those kinds of sins, that I was aware of....but I went to church with people at my old church who were very involved and weren't Saved.
