I dont believe the end is near...and no one will know when it is going to happen. We may not know the very day or hour of Christ return, but we are told to watch and to know the season. We are in that season the Tribulation is at are door steps.

According to my Discipleship book, the 1000 yr reign of Christ happens after the 2nd coming of Christ, which ahppens after the 7 yr trib Ok, but that contradicts scripture. Revelation 12.

Won't be long before Christians are persecuted here is America. Christians have always been persecuted in America. Aren't you familiar with The Catholic Persecutions by Protestants when this country was founded? Or how Protestants enslaved Christian African Americans? This country has always tolerated Christian persecution. Nothing new...like I said, this isn't a Christian country anyway. Christ would not allow Abortion or Legalized Prostitution or Gay Marriage or Unjust Wars, Etc... We get what we want, God allows us to do what we want to do.

It wont happen, unless it comes from the terrorists. There are tooo many Christians in america that own guns I know my houshold would hold up just fine! We don't need terrorist to attack Christians. Here, "Christians" are Christians worst enemy with all the debauchery that they allow and make the Law of The Land. Obama and this left wing administration is Christians worse enemy.

Here's a chance for the Catholic Church to publically speak out against the persecution of Jews in a Catholic country. I won't hold my breath.

cradle- the end is near, God is going to let satan do a lot worse things than he's already doing. You mean that 1000 years thing? That already happened after Jesus was ressurected (read Revelation 12 and you'll see that the 1000 years started when Jesus was taken to Heaven 2,000 years ago, so that time is already over). It's "man" that is destroying man. Satan just whispers in our ears to bite the fruit. Man needs to change. The end is the return of Christ which is preceded by the great tribulation that is what is near. Further more the 1,000 millennium is the literal rule of Christ here on this earth that proceeds Christ return. Seeing as Jesus has yet to return, the millennium has not started much less ended.

Well not the end of the world just the end of this age ;D

Revelation 12 does not mention the Millennium at all. Not if Obama has anything to do with it, and so far he has gotten everything he wants. Christianity as we know it is American is a grave danger. That's what happens when Christians have evil policies like abortion and gay marriage and unjust wars and unfair taxation favoring the wealthy. Perhaps, God is allowing us to go down the tubes for a reason for being the Babylon of today. This nation was corrupt before President Obama ever got in office. Hell, it was always corrupt with Slavery, Catholic Oppression, Civil Rights Violations, etc... It still has a long way to go. We're still a baby after all as a nation (just over 225 years old). America needs to repent and turn to God. Only then will God bless us with a pure leader.

We get what we want, God allows us to do what we want to do. Yep, the majority of this country is corrupt and evil hearted. It is "not" a Christian country.

Obama and this left wing administration is Christians worse enemy. No, Obama didn't have anything to do with legalizing abortion or prostitution or unjust war. That was The Republicans doing. He is just walking into the office that Bush left him. I think that the only thing Dems are responsible for is gay marriage. And, no man, party, government can stop Christianity...again, only Christians can stop or hurt Christianity. We took Rome out and they controlled the entire world. If this was a 100% Catholic Country, I guarantee you things would be way different here, but it's not. We are the minority here as far as Christians go. We have to complain to those Christians that are in power (and I'll give you one guess as to which Christian group is not in power in this country? Catholics). But hey, that's what happens when you start to stray from scripture and have female clergy and gay marriage and all of that. That's why Catholicism has outlasted just about every government since it's inception. And we'll be around after America dissolves.

However it does say Christians will have a place of protection during the 3.5 year long reign of the anti christ, and that satan will persecute those that do not go into their place of protection. No, it mentions when Satan was set loose on earth and when he began to persecute Christians. Unless you think there are two of these occurances. Is that what you believe? That Satan was loosed once on the earth, then jailed, then loosed again? If so, do you have scriptural proof of this? I only see Satan being cast out of heaven and persecuting Christians once...and that's in Revelation 12 and that happened right after Jesus was taken up into Heaven. So, based on that timeline, the 1000 years of Satan's rule came and went already (according to scripture).

He is bound in the bottomless pit for 1,000 years that is the millennium. No offence but you really need to study up on your eschatology, it is way off. If you need some help, it is one of my areas of expertise

It's the government that is kicking out The Jews because of their human rights violations against The Palestinians, not The Catholic Church.

The Jews are also God's children. They are God's chosen people. Those who bless them will be blessed, those who curse them will be cursed. I choose to be blessed.
