At baptism. After that, I reverted to my faith (which I used to oppose) in my late 20's.

Ive lived in tx whole life, but have been to DC, and the whole east coast. We traveled the apalation trail through the mountains, that was neat!

Marcie, I'd love to visit TX someday. When I was in HS I wanted to move down there...not sure why, lol, I think I just thought it would be cool.
Heather (all this time I thought your name was Teresa....that's gonna be a hard one to change, lol...), I've always wanted to paint...but I"m not so good at it. Hubby bought me a art set a few Christmases ago, I should use it sometimes, maybe I'll get better at it, who knows...

Avalon (I got her name from a Roxy Music video in the 80's because the song was so beautiful and it's the name of The Isle of Apples where King Arthur was buried upon his death from which [as the legend goes], in England's greatest time of need, he will rise again). Isabel (named after the Queen of Spain who sponsored the discovery of America...for years, when she was only 4 years old and I told her [my daughter] how she got her name, when I'd introduce her, she'd say "I'm The Queen of Spain!"). And you may call me Steven with no problem! Matter of fact, I like the first name basis thing! ;D |

Richmond born and raised. My brother was out there for a spell. Beautiful area. One day, I'm going to Mountain Bike out there and fish (I'm a fishing fanatic). I'm going to take up hunting this year, but only for kill that I can actually eat (not just for sport). I'll store what I can and give the rest to the Friary that runs a shelter for the homeless. VA is definitely one of my target areas. |

My ex just came back from Houston and is living with me now. I definitely plan to go to Texas one day. I lived in Arizona for a while, but didn't have time to hit New Mexico and Texas. One day, I will. By the way, whoever comes to New York, you're invited to my Church. And if I come out to where you folks are at, I'd be happy to worship with you guys. ;D |

Steven, have you ever heard of Camp Shane? It's in NY, out in the middle of no where in a really small town. So it's very possible you havent...anyways, I went to that camp when I was a teen.

Actuallly, yes, I have heard of it. And it's not too far off from me. I'm working on moving upstate soon because I love living in the woods and I much more prefer small towns. Right now, I live in a suburb of New York City. Nice place, but I needs woods around me and nature. I'm a Jibaro at heart (that's Puerto Rican for "Redneck")! ;D |
