Thanks Knucks. In case you haven't cyberly heard, I was in Puerto Rico for the past week working on my home out there. I'm glad to be back. On my next trip there, I'm going to have the web installed there so that I can do my work from there too. I'm going back every 6-8 weeks.

I would suggest reading the Idiots guide to Islam. Written by a former "Christian". He does a good job explaning Islam but screws up christianity pretty bad. I'm guessing that is why he converted. Anyways you can learn a lot from a true source but he won't be able to convert anyone who knows anything about thier christain faith.

mohammed the prophet. no he was not the prophet moses spoke about. moses said God will send someone like me. a man God spoke to directly, and a man who did signs, wonders, and miracles as moses did. also a prophet makes prophecies based on what God speaks to him. all the prophecies then come true.TEST of a prophet. Mohammed was never spoken to from God. He was spoken to by an angel. Satan and a third of the angels in heaven were kicked out. They have tried to distort and change the truth to keep people from a loving God.Mohammed wasn't spoken to from God. did not one sign, wonder or miracle, and made no prophecies that came true. He did not walk in love. He forced his own religion which he received fron some angel.

when Jesus came he proved who he was. he fullfilled over 200 prophecies. he raised the dead,he was the Son of God and he was God,he healed the blind, deaf, lame and halt. He said, I am the way, truth and the light. nobody comes to God except by me. He was crucified according to prophecy and was raised back to life and seen by hundreds of people This is a video of a Muslim man who came to Jesus Christ out of Islam. It is soul shaking! Jesus appears and talks to this man. www.muslimjourneytohope.com/testimonies/testimony_afshin.wmv It all goes to misindoctrination. For Islam, they speak of Jesus in the way that they've been taught. Because they are not discrespecting Him and see Him in an honorable light, it makes it easier to disassemble The Gospel. The thing is that Islam and Christianity are very much alike. Mohammed's uncle was a devout practicing Christian. Supposedly, he had a great influence on Mohammed. Whether or not Mohammed was met by God, I can't say. I have been met by Christ (literally, not spiritually or symbollically, but literally), so I cannot judge to whom God presents Himself to. I just know what I know...that Jesus "is" is Son. Jesus "is" God. Jesus "is" Who He says He is and who Josephus (a secular Jewish Historian of the 1st Century) says He is. Why is Josephus important? Because...he's not a religious figure. He is unbiased proof that Jesus existed and did wonders.

What I have to respect about Islam is that they may not agree with us on Jesus, but they certainly don't disrespect Him (other than "not" believing in the historic Christ as we do).
They won't dare slander Him or belittle Him or insult Him.
They just don't see Him as Who He was. Some might say that makes all the difference, but I say that "how" someone disagrees with us is just as important as the disagreement.
When my family gets together (1/2 Pentecostals & 1/2 Catholics), we never ever fight regarding religion. We might not agree theologically, but we love each other.

hi Cepha------------
in the Dome of the Rock there is a plaque that reads "God forbid he had a son".
this is directed toward Christ whom they deny but it speaks volumes about the relationship they have with Allah.
You and I, Cepha are something they believe they can never be.We are children of God we can call upon Abba Father, love Him for who He is and have a personal relationship with Him.
The Muslim's see Allah as a master and they the servant they live in the shadow of his wrath. They know obedience, not love.
I have some Muslim buddies and if you ever get the chance to really understand their theology in light of where we stand in the love of God----it will break your heart man. When it first hit me,the fear they have of Allah I cried.I prayed for them and they looked like they expected lightning to strike me for my sacrilege or something.

Cepha, no disrespect here, but you are treating Islam as if it is a religion worth respecting. Is it just me or do you not know that Islam is in a fight to the death with Christianity? Do not be fooled Cepha, but be warned that one day there will come a holy war and Muslim will be knocking on your door (as they already are in the Phillipines, Africa etc...) and will ask you if you are a Christian or Muslim. Will you then have respect for them when they blow your head off because you claim to be Christian?? This has happened in the Phillipines, they knocked and shot a 7 month old baby and her family because they were Christians. Wake up people, I think there is a lot of sugar coating going on here..

Hi Cepha----------------- In 624 Mohammad led Muslim forces against Meccan(Arab non-Muslims)trading caravans murdering them and stealing their goods After the fall and conversion of Mecca (under threat of death) he turned his attention to raiding Jewish and Bedouin caravans. He was a thug a thief and a murderer. If he decide to go to war and rob a specific group he would meditate and pray in public, then declare the Angel Gabriel had declared so and so an enemy of Allah-----funny thing all these enemies were usually under powered an rich---on the odd occasion when one of his raids failed he took the loss out on his own people declaring that they were not devout believers or that one of his generals had sinned. After he had built an army of incredible power he started blackmailing other rulers to convert or suffer war he also taxed them with the tax of alms under threat of attack After His death Abu Bakr his hand picked successor declared the Christians infidels for stating that Jesus was the Son of God and death and jihad ensued. yes Mohammad was a violent man. much love-----knuckle Wow , wow , take it easy there knuckle. You need to know what you are talking about first.. Mohammed (peace be upon him) was originally living in mekka when he started recieving revelations at the age of 40. When the number of his followers kept growing , the idol worshippers who were in power at that time could not stand the muslims worshipping God alone , the God of Abraham (peace be upon him) , so the pagans and the idol worshippers began persecuting and opressing the muslims for many years , if I am not mistaken for 13 years. Then when things did not improve , Mohammed (peace be upon him) moved to medina but they were not left alone there. Only then did Mohammed (peace be upon him) and his followers form an army to defend the muslims and claim back their rights to worship in peace. Mohammed (pbuh) would offer peace to all factions and whoever accepted was left alone. Whoever did not accept , was left to be dealt with on the battlefield. To make a long story short , Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) was forced to fight because of the agression and the hostility of his enemies. By the way , I am new here so I may mess up sooner or later cause I am not very familiar with forums either. <*>_<*>

I love Him very much. There is none like Him! According to our noble prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) , Allah says: --> I am as My servant thinks I am. I am with him when he makes mention of Me. If he makes mention of Me to himself, I make mention of him to Myself; and if he makes mention of Me in an assembly, I make mention of him in an assemble better than it. And if he draws near to Me an arm's length, I draw near to him a fathom's length. And if he comes to Me walking, I go to him at speed. Do you imagine the Creator of the heavens and earth , the King of the universe figuratively 'running' towards you if you only 'walked' towards Him? That is Love. That shows how much Allah cares for His righteous servants. Furthermore , Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) also said: --> If Allah has loved a servant [of His] He calls Gabriel (on whom be peace) and says: I love So-and-so, therefore love him. He (the Prophet pbuh) said: So Gabriel loves him. Then he (Gabriel) calls out in heaven, saying: Allah loves So-and-so, therefore love him. And the inhabitants of heaven love him. He (the Prophet pbuh) said: Then acceptance is established for him on earth. I realise I haven't introduced myself clearly. Yes , I am muslim.. so you better convert or I am gonna go all jihadi on you people!! xD j/k

A fight to the death? Where do you get this fear-mongering material from ? Christians and muslims can live by side by side with no problems whatsoever , as long as there is noone transgressing against the other. Unfortunately , there are some dumb muslims who do dumb stuff , but you people got dumb people as well. lol People just do dumb stuff. That does not mean your faith and mine propagates doing dumb stuff , cause that would be just.. dumb. Knuckles , you need to be aware of why muslims are fighting in certain countries. I don't know how old you are , but do you remember when the commies tried to invade afghanistan in the 80's? Muslim brothers from all over the world rushed to afghanistan to help out their afghan brothers and in the end , the commies were driven out. Now that's a classic example of what jihad is about. The same thing we see today in iraq , palestine , somalia , chechnya , afghanistan. ALL of these countries are been occupied by foreign forces. Do you STILL want to keep blaming muslims for these wars even tho these countries were invaded? Cmon. I assure you , the new world order ain't just some internet conspiracy. What we are seeing today is a battle between powerful and occult groups who want to prepare the way for the anti-christ by dominating the world , against us muslims fighting to defend ourselves and to fight for the Kingdom of God to be ruled under the reign of the messiah , prophet Jesus (peace be upon him). On which side are you on knuckles?

He did not walk in love. He forced his own religion which he received fron some angel. It's correct that God informed Moses (peace be upon him) about a prophet who would be like him. Who could this prophet be? This prophet is none other than Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him). Let's compare these noble prophets , shall we? Both were born naturally Both were sheperds Both recieved inspiration at the age of 40 Both recieved similiar laws Both were accepted by their people Both led their people away from opression (egypt/mekka) Both were state leaders and led their people into battle Both died naturally It is clear that this prophet just like moses (pbuh) must be Mohammed (pbuh) and not jesus (pbuh). Furthermore , this prophet would not speak on his own but he would be told what to say. Time and time again in the Quran , Mohammed (pbuh) is told to SAY things. A few examples: (Quran 3:64) S A Y ( o mohammed) : "O People of the Book (jews and christians) ! Come to common terms as between us and you: That we worship none but Allah; that we associate no partners with him; that we erect not, from among ourselves, Lords and patrons other than Allah." If then they turn back, say ye: "Bear witness that we (at least) are Muslims (bowing to Allah's Will). (Quran 6:57) -- S A Y (o mohammed) : "For me, I (work) on a clear sign from my Lord, but ye reject Him. What ye would see hastened, is not in my power. The command rests with none but Allah: He declares the truth, and He is the best of judges." (Quran 10:15) -- But when Our Clear Signs are rehearsed unto them, those who rest not their hope on their meeting with Us, say : "Bring us a reading other than this, or change this," S A Y ( to them o mohammed) : "It is not for me, of my own accord, to change it: I follow naught but what is revealed unto me: if I were to disobey my Lord, I should myself fear the penalty of a Great Day (to come)." And yes , Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him)did perform miracles.... During a trip through the desert from medina to mekka , Mohammed (peace be upon him) and his people ran out of water. What he did was stick his hand into a vessel with a little water , and the amount of water increased miraculously because of water gushing from between his fingers. Another time , one of his people broke his leg. All Mohammed (peace be upon him) had to do was wipe over the broken leg with his hand and the broken leg was healed. The leg was as if nothing happened to it in the first place , according to the unfortunate one. Lucky , I should say. :-) One of the greatest miracles of Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) is him splitting the moon after his people asked if they could see a miracle. A king in india noticed this phenomenon but was not aware that Mohammed (pbuh) did it. Later the king was told about a prophet in arabia who split the moon. The king recalled what he saw before. Then he and his people ended up converting and visiting the Prophet. Yet others rejected this miracle and God mentions them in the Quran: (Quran 54:1-3) “The Last Hour draws near, and the moon is split asunder! And if they see a sign (miracle), they turn away and say, ‘Passing magic!’- for they are bent on giving it the lie, being always wont to follow their own desires.” (Quran 54:1-3) Even tho Mohammed (pbuh) did all these things and more , he never attributed these miracles to himself . He always attributed what he did to the power and the will of God. He was always humble and down to earth saying once: Do not exaggerate in over-praising me like the christians have done to jesus (pbuh). Call me the servant and apostle of Allah.'' The greatest miracle of God given to Mohammed (pbuh) , that is universal and for everyone to see , is the Quran. The authenticity of the Quran is backed up scientific miracles , fulfilled prophecies , and the eloquency of the Highest quality that no human being , and definetely not Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) could produce. Allahu akbar! = God is the Greatest!

Also to note, mohammad, a man who could not read nor write, told his followers what had been revealed to him, and then they wrote it down, the questio is what if what they wrote down, was wrong??? How could mohammad correct them?? Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) had the Quran memorised and so did the proffesional scribes who would back each other up. A bit later , everytime a revelation would come , the verse(s) would be written down. Furthermore , every year in the holy month of ramadan , angel Gabriel would review the Quran with him. Right before Mohammed (pbuh) died , the Quran was reviewed twice.
