I love the old school Pentecostals. No make up, jewelry, provocative clothing, smoking, drinking, drugs, partying, kept long hair, etc... They had it right. Once they became more liberal and left their roots, Pentecostalism collapsed into sub-divisions where the enemy was no longer Satan, but themselves. That's sad for me...reminds me of The Great Schism of The Universal Church and The Orthodox Church. The best Christians are those that adhere to what The Bible teaches (whether they be Catholics or Protestants). Cepha, again you are contradicting yourself with the statement that reads "The best Christians are those that adhere to what the bible teaches, be it Catholic or Protestant". Well, we Catholics do no go by the "bible alone" theory and you know that. Also, Protestant religion is not the true faith Jesus started. Are you denying this?

R1, The truth is the truth whoever practices it. If a Protestant or a Muslim or a Jew obeys the 10 Commandments to the letter, are they not obeying God in that respect? Take away their personal religious beliefs, but just focus on the fact that they obey God on those 10 Commandments, by doing this, aren't they pleasing God? And of course Jesus didn't start Protestantism, but He did start Christianity and those non-Catholic Christians that are Christians by Catholic definition are Christians regardless of what church they attend.

Why would it be strange? What interpretation of Scripture is this for you. Clearly, it states confession that Jesus asked the Apostles to do.
"WHAT SINS YOU FORGIVE ARE FORGIVEN THEM, WHAT SINS YOU RETAIN ARE RETAINED".
What does this EXACTLY mean to you?
