I've come across some really wierd forums lately.
It seems that the web is full of them.
If these people put as much time into preaching the Gospel that they do into disobeying Jesus in Mark 9 regarding the judgement of other Christians, they would've done tremendous work in the name of God.
But their focus isn't on Christ, but on their anti-Catholicism.
If you go to these sites, you'll find that the most active forums are their anti-Catholic forums. It's amazing...a faith forum based on anti-universal Christianity. Oh wait, but that's what their religion is based on..."protesting".
What's funniest to me is that they have these anti-Catholic superstars that I've personally trounced.
And after their being invited here, they refuse to come.
Their like Sadam Husseins...talking a great game while in Iraq.
Oh man would I love to have them here!
All those CARMers and ChurchUSAers and the most recent site I got banned from today RaptureForumers! LOL! Yes! There is actually a site called RaptureForums!
LOL! They say that it's not a place for Catholic discussion, yet their busiest board is the one on Catholic Discussion! LOL! They deleted and edited my responses! LOL!
Of course, their being Sola Scripturists, they got heated when I asked them if the word "rapture" was in The Bible.
That thread got deleted. I wonder why?
LOL!
Cyber Pharisees...walking around all high and mighty thinking they have the authority to tell people that their wrong.
I see them posting the most ridiculous threads then they gather around and break their arms patting each other on the back at their great accomplishments! LOL!
All this without any opposing views being allowed to be expressed!
If you beat them, they delete your quotes!
LOL!
The greatest gift I could receive is to have them all come here.

Typical traits you'll find on anti-Catholic sites:
Mean and nasty atmosphere.
The sugar/salt statements like: "I tell you this with christ's love...repent or burn in hell you pagan!"
Become enraged when asked for proof of their beliefs.
Have many "alones"...this alone or that alone...if something alone is required for salvation, which one is it? Isn't there only supposed to be one "alone" (hence, meaning no other thing needed)?
Break down scriptures into fragments, piece them together creating a new belief, then call it a Christian belief.
Knock tradition, yet, practice tradition.
Insist one only uses the Bible for debates, but then use denominational commentaries and tracts to debate.
Create a debate, then, go and pull every anti-Catholic dogma they can when you begin to answer their question trying to take the focus off of the discussion and introducing new points to a conversation that never were part of the debate in the first place.
Complain about everything. As long as they do it, it's no problem, but when you do it against them, then, it's a problem.
Run out of time. All of a sudden, they don't have time to be on a forum anymore.
Don't cite sources. Their notorious for copying & pasting, but not citing the source from where they got their information.
Take scriptural verses out of context.
The old stand-by's: "Well, the only thing that matters is Jesus!" "Mary doesn't save!" "What about the Priests that molested those little boys?"

You can't really be surprised by all of this. Here's what to do if you want to stick around. Dumb down your arguments. Act like an uneducated stalwart of the faith but good natured enough. They'll only ban you when you get too many theological points that hurt them. Then act a little bit overwhelmed and every once in a while make a great point, then follow with a few bad arguments. Slowly they might start to accept you or see some validity to your arguments.

Think of it like the dumb detective in the movie Boon Dock Saints. He puts out a bunch of bad arguments, but in the end his theory of the one man with 6 guns actually gets proven to be correct and he gets his point across.

I remember when CC was on ChurchUSA and she was cyberly kissing their you know whats! LOL! I knew she had the theological background to knock them out the box, but she kept playing dumb just so they wouldn't ban her. Thing is, they ended up banning her anyway! LOL! They remind me of Kramer in Karate class. They can only succeed when they are in an enviroment where they control the text. This board is like the end of The Kramer Karate Class video! LOL! www.youtube.com/watch?v=lk1GZhI_B4ANah...forget that. They could stay here if they could debate, but if they can't, then I'm going to ride them until they quit. I'm going to be relentless demanding proof of their false allegations! Besides... www.youtube.com/watch?v=k97ApJiJD9cLOL!

For all the anti-Catholics...
Mark 9:38-40 And John answered him, saying,
"Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us."
But Jesus said,
"Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me. For he that is not against us is on our part."

And to the rest of the Catholics who whimper on the anti-Catholic sites...remember this! Let them know, that if they come here... I am Catholic. And I see a whole site of my fellow Catholics, here in defiance of tyranny!
You have come to debate as free Catholics. And free Catholics you are! What will you do without freedom? Will you fight?"
"Two Moderators against us?" - the veteran shouted. "No! We will be nice and play dumb - and post!"
"Yes! Fight and you may be banned. Run and you will be allowed to post at least awhile.
And lurking on your computer many posts from now,
would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one chance,
just one chance, to come back here as Catholics and tell our enemies...
...that they may ban our profiles,
BUT THEY WILL NEVER TAKE OUR...FREEDOMMMMMM!"
"ALBA GU BRA!"

You know I knew you were going with this. LOL You know who I am from that movie? Literally my namesake...Steven, The Irishman (literally). I'm just as forward as he is with his opinions, I come from an Island that I'm extremely proud of, and I'm real with my words. I don't hold anything back. Check you PM.

You know something? When I see some of the things being posted on anti-Catholic Forums like CARM, I'm glad that their not here. Maybe, this is a blessing. Maybe, their not being here is a good thing. Maybe, just maybe, I should be counting my blessings. And be grateful for those who do actually grace our pages. Which I definately am...whether or not I agree with them.

I wouldn't mind one or two at a time but getting all of them overhere would be way too much.

Uh, I think you have it in reverse...I didn't quit them. Remember, "they" banned me. Tough? It was fun while they allowed me to post. After they banned me, they went back and deleted most of my threads and the ones they left up, they edited and added their own words to make it seems as if their words were my words. It was tough for them. As for The Rapture...is that "in" The Holy Bible? Could you refer me to the chapter and verse that states The Rapture?

Well, your anti-Catholic detector works.... it automatically deleted a word from my post. Cute! The only words I have disallowed are curses and words that are offensive to anybody (like a word used to describe Fundamentalists that I consider to be a slur). If you used a word that is not allowed, then it must have been an obscene or offensive word. How come you never responded to my posts on Saint Jerome?
