Thing is, obama is pro-choice and thinks it is ok to have partial birth abortions. PERIOD. No Catholic should approve of this or accept it. I know you agree with most/all of his positions in politics, but you show almost no negativity towards him for this, and its like your are blinded by everything else he is.

Are my words not enough? What, should I jump in the middle of the street and stab myself in the stomach in protest? Should I blow up abortion clinics? Should I go out and shoot abortion doctors? What is enough proof? I said that he's 101% wrong. If that's not good enough for you, sorry I'm not "extremist" enough. I don't have to be. I know that ultimately, like a great Priest said recently, we have to place the blame of abortion on those who have the abortions. They are responsible for getting pregnant and choosing to kill their babies. The President didn't legalize abortion (The Republicans did that). When he got into office, it was already the law. Plus, he didn't get those women pregnant and certainly hasn't performed any abortions. Nope. That sin is the sin of those who do it. Texas believes in Capitol Punishment (even though The Catholic Church opposes it). Are you yourself guilty of those men being killed just because you were born in Texas? See how unreasonable that sounds CC? |

Hey, that's not exactly untrue (about the founder of Planned Parenthood being a racist and how abortion was legalized by the 98% White Republican Party of The 70's because Whites weren't having no where near the abortions that blacks where having and they saw it as a manner of population control...the government even funded abortions publically!). Not only that! Did you guys notice that nobody started screaming about abortioin until the White Population began to decrease as the Minority Population began to increase and White women started having as much if not more abortions that minorities? He forgot about the men that get them pregnant and you also forgot about the "Doctor" and assistants who (not being under emotional duress as the mother usually is) kill the child.
He also forgot about all the people who cooperate to help the woman instead of supporting her decision for life.
Women who have abortions are usually under extreme emotional stress, which is further heightened by the hormones of pregnancy (men can't understand, sorry). Many of them are very young. Then there are these Doctors (usually men) all "professional" under no stress, who kill their babies to make some money.
Often, women who have abortions are deserted by the father of the baby, or are pressured by him to have an abortion.
When I think about all these factors, I really can't understand how "feminists" are so much in favor of abortion. It completely objectifies women.

Most abortions are the result of immorality. It's not uncommom for these women to have more than one abortion. One hundred percent of the blame should be on the women ...not the men or the doctors. Today you have 40% of all children being born out-of-wedlock and that is because young women today are down right crazy. If a woman is not married to a man that woman can't expect a man to stick around especially if she is pregnant. There was a time when I believed that a man was obligated to provide for his children born out of wedlock but I no longer hold that view. |
